two types, fished on a dropper; on the point, a red marabou tailed bloodworm, and on the dropper, a red-headed diawl bach with a gold rib. Both seem to catch pretty consistently.
Pretty much any estuary or harbour holds mullet - they are extremely prolific along our shores, even found along open rocky shores where kelp is washed up on shore, so you won't have any trouble finding them. The key is finding areas where they stop and feed (or are forced to stop by a barrier to the incoming tide). Look for small rivers running directly out into the sea or pools in between gravel banks. As it's tidal/coastal water, you don't need any licenses or permits.
hi sir but i was interested in doing some mullet fishing in wales & i wanted to know where this is..im residing in wales tonypandy..is this any where close to where i live..
love mulleting, although I use bread. I believe they are one of the hardest fish to catch and one of the hardest fights available( in the uk) "don't they hang on" as matt hayes would say! thanks for the upload.

are they good to eat
No, especially not estuary fish...not a clean food chain! Catch and release 🙂
@@politevengeance . ok thanks for the reply , i thought as our local river Loughor has Sewin & a Salmon run that the Mullet may have been ok to eat
What line are you using? Floating?
