I’ll usually just bring a sleeping bag in my car and take naps at rest stops on the way back. Maybe drive an hour, rest an hour; long enough for for the car to warm up again and hold heat for a bit while resting I guess it depends on hat far it is, or crash at someone’s place if I know anyone in the area
