Great question...Unfortunately, I believe that many will blindly follow. It says, that wide is the path to destruction and many will enter. I personally believe, that it will be especially difficult for those who are not spiritually prepared. Even for us believers, our faith will be tested. Choices, options, and resources will become fewer. This is done on purpose, to make the people feel desperate and hopeless. So, that they will make choises out of fear. I personally believe, that if we are committed to diligently seeking our refuge in Christ, He will always give us a way out, even if it is not easy.

Question. How is it that there is now the mark of the beast when the beast is not yet revealed. I understand according to the Bible that the beast will ascend the throne of God during the abomination of desolation, the 6th trumpet and proclaim himself as God.
This was just a visualization. We’re not actually in the tribulation yet. But when we are the Mark of the beast will happen around the time…more than likely after the abomination of desolation. Most have been deceived to think the abomination is when the Antichrist literally sits in a physical temple in Israel and calls himself God..but that’s not it at all. Read Jesus’ own words in the gospels. He says destroy this temple and I’ll build it again in three days, he wasn’t speaking of a physical building…he meant his body. And then after his resurrection what did he do? He physically breathed the Holy Spirit into his disciples…and now all who accept Christ invite the Holy Spirit to live inside of their body…aka their Temple. Our physical bodies are the Temple for which the Holy Spirit resides. Which is why Jesus also said to Peter (which means rock) in Matthew 16:18 “you are Peter, and on this Rock I will build my church” He’s saying that the church now exists within us, just as the Holy Spirit does.
So the abomination of desolation in my opinion after much study, is AFTER the majority of the world/nations accept the rule of the new charismatic leader who brings peace and accepts his mark…which I believe will be advertised as something that makes everyday life easier, basically a convenience or safety thing…but after this happens, and they accept not only his rule over the world but also his Mark, what they’re doing is replacing the Holy Spirit in their Temple, which again is their body…with the spirit of the Antichrist…which honestly I can’t think of a bigger abomination than that. Granted people worship Satan daily even now, but imagine more than half the world worshipping him…and the reason it’s called the abomination of desolation is because at that point, the evil forces will outweigh the good, and things will seem “Desolate” which if you know the definition, means destruction, abandonment, and emptiness.. which is exactly how the remaining believers in Christ will feel. We will be persecuted and outnumbered, trying to hide and spread the gospel at the same time, dying in the name of our Lord daily just to try and save at least one person from taking the Mark. It’s going to be a tough time for Believers during this time, but we have to find each other, and band together to fight the darkness, and endure as long as we can…the great news is some of us will actually make it to the sounding of the final trumpet and physically see Jesus coming in the clouds, but even if we don’t, as long as we keep the faith…we’ll be up there waiting for those who remain to join us, in the twinkling of an eye it says and we will all be together with the Lord forever. We just have to endure the seven seals and six trumpets first.

In the Book of Revelation, chapters 1-5 and 19-22 are in chronological order, but chapters 6-18 are not. I think we're already in tribulation. There are many antichrists at work already, including the final antichrist. Just because this false messiah hasn't stepped forward to the masses doesn't mean he hasn't already been calling the shots since 2020.

And once it starts we only have seven years. I don’t think you’ve actually read the effects of the seals and the trumpets…but those are signs we definitely wouldn’t miss.
Heck brother, the first seal is the arrival of the antichrist and the proposed “World Peace” he brings. Not sure if you’ve looked around but there hasn’t been peace for a long time. And when we finally do see worldwide peace….that is the start of the seven year tribulation…because that is when the first seal is broken. Then the rest are like contractions, they start out being a few months apart, then a few weeks, and then a few days by the very end. The second seal, when you read it…remember it’s after the arrival of the antichrist, and what else does revelation say?..Power was given to him to wage war against the saints, so when you see it say wars and bloodshed…and peace being taken from the earth.. this is when the antichrist and his followers start to persecute the Christians. And as Jesus says that’s just the beginning. Right around the same time the persecution starts, more than likely at the same time…the Mark of the beast system will be put in place, and all who don’t follow it will be persecuted…hence the war and bloodshed, and leads right into the third seal, which is famine and economic hardship. Which you already know if you don’t have the Mark,of the new beast system you can’t buy or sell anything. Then the pains (effects of the seals and then the trumpets) get closer together until the end and the Final Trumpet is sounded. Then we are caught up to be with the Lord and he then sends his angels to pour the bowls judgements on all who accepted the Mark or worshipped his name or image.

Here are the effects of the seven trumpets in the order they appear in Revelation 8:2-9:21 and 11:15-19:

- A third of the earth's vegetation is burned up, and a third of the trees are destroyed.
2. _Second Trumpet:_ Mountain of Fire (Revelation 8:8-9)
- A massive mountain of fire is thrown into the sea, killing a third of marine life and destroying a third of the ships.

And again all this happens in seven years. So if we really were in the tribulation right now, when did it start?
