Little tip for you if you run into that again with a water leak. If the car run turn the blower on high speed with fresh air and then go around with dish soap and water mix and start spraying around all the trouble areas. It bubble up just like a tire. You could if the car doesn’t run, out an air hose in the car blowing air into the cabin, you just need to pressurize the cabin to find the leak. I’ve used both ways. I had a pinch weld leaking on a roof of a new escape that was eating my lunch at work and I ended up using both ways, the blower at first, then a blow gun once I got some trim off and head liner down to pin point exactly where. Just alittle trick you can keep up your sleeve next time.

Looking good. You are right on the time it takes to build a car. I spent about an hour jacking with the broke battery tray hold down on the 91 project - a 5 minute fix 🤣

Very cool tank, yeah sometimes no matter if it's new stuff, if there is a way for water to get in it seems
to find it, great catch to fix it.

I think the tapping noise is just background music in the video

Hey dude, I had a 1990 GT they had been in the front end collision and it always leaked in the driver side and so for the longest time I couldn’t figure it out and it’s a messed up the connection that goes back to the fuel pump that’s underneath the driver seat. Well I never really figured out and then I didn’t have to drive it every day so I put it up on jackstands and what I found when they stretched it on the frame and seen it tore holes and there’s a firewall, and just below the top of the firewall on the bottom of the firewall where they say. I had a bunch of holes rips in it when I hold it on the frame machine so I gotta make welder and some metal fill in the holes and it stopped all my leaks but when they stretched it back in shape on the frame machine what it did is a ripped up for 2 inch holes

Ive not drove my coupe in over 10 years . I still got some work to do but my back glass is loose . I removed the trim to repaint the car and i found that i can take my fingernails n pull the corner of the glass up a goos 1/2-1 in … so now before i hit the track gotta deal with that too !!

I got lucky I guess, when I bought my 93 notch in 2006 it was dry over time the back glass started leaking. At first it was only when you took it to the car wash it would run down the back glass but as time went on it got worse. Had a local glass company remove the rear glass a few years ago and check the channel and reinstall the glass now its fine and hasnt leaked for 3 years. Had similar issue with my 97 f150 only it was the windshield that started leaking, Driver side first, never showed on floor etc but the was leaking on the fuse block and gem module causing the dash lights to go stupid and various other things. Had the glass replaced and the leak was good for about 5 years then the butyl let loose on the passenger side and it leaked and would drip from the passenger side hand pull. Glass company literally knocked it out (smashed it ) so they had to replace and reinstalled again now it it dry again.
