- On this episode of the Converse Cowboy, I talk to Vincent Neil Emerson, an up-and-coming country music singer-songwriter. VNE's music has been described as timeless and positive. He has toured with other greats like Colter Wall and Charley Crocket. VNE and I discuss how he began his music career, how he's overcoming the difficulties, as well as mindset and philosophy as it relates to performing music.
Vince is actually my cousin I’m so happy to see he is doing big things. Haven’t talked to him in a long while but I’m happy to hear his music and see he’s going places
This dude's the best country artist out there right now in my honest opinion, can't wait for his works to come
I agree. Colter Wall and Billy Strings are good too.
If I had a dollar for every time Colter got brought up.... Would suggest to keep it on the interviewee in future. Like hearing VNE speak and makes me like him even more.
Ha...maybe you can send us a link to your podcast so we can pickup some ‘interviewing tips’...
VNE is one of the greatest writers out there right now in my opinion, can't wait to hear his upcoming album! Great interview as always!
Yep! I got way too excited when I heard him say he's working on a new album in this. Didn't know that!
Great interview. Vince is the shit balls. I walk around with his autograph under my hat. Saw him in Bakersfield, Ca. Good guy to talk to. You should have a redo with colter wall and have him physically there. I’ve tried a few times to watch his interview …but hard to hear and follow.
Vincent's new record might be a masterpiece.
Fantastic interview, and what a great artist to hear from! The production value in this channel is far too underrated.
I really appreciate what y'all got going on here, and you're a great interviewer, Mike. You do a swell job of letting everyone you talk to speak their mind, and you always seem genuinely invested in what he/she has to say. To top it all off, you have a very humble attitude and show great respect for everyone you speak with. You are a *class act,* partner!
Sorry to be off topic but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb forgot my account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Harvey Amari instablaster =)
@Gerald Maximiliano Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm.
Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Had the pleasure of talking to him for a little bit after a show at Luckenbach, hell of a man and a musician. Really enjoyed this interview.
Consider me jealous. VNE seems to be like one of them fellers who gets along with anybody. He's the ideal bonfire buddy!
VNE, huge influence for me man!
I loved this interview. You bring ALOT more content and thought provoking questions than The Gauge Podcast and yall have interviewed the same folks at times LOL. Great interview!!!!
That's what I'm saying! The quality in this channel is too underrated. Absolutely no reason this channel should only have a few hundred views a video!
Great interview. This makes three that I want to keep, Corb Lund and Colter Wall are the others.
Good talk. Thanks for doing this interview!
🤙🏼 you bet! Thank you for following along!
Heck yeah man, this was something else!
🤙🏼 thank ya sir! VNE is an amazing singer/songwriter and an even cooler human!
Best one yet!
Can someone explain the David Allan Coe reference?

Jesse Daniel is the bomb diggity.
Came here for Vincent Neil Emerson. Once this converse dude started to talk about mushrooms, I started realizing he wants to be Joe Rogan so bad.
