I've been following the topic of gigantic sea creature evolution with great interest, especially the theories around abundant food sources and environmental pressures driving this change. It's fascinating to consider how these factors contribute to the gigantism observed in species like the colossal squid and giant isopods.

Great video! Just wanted to add that while ancient dinosaurs were enormous, none were confirmed to be twice the size of today’s blue whales. Blue whales, reaching up to 200 tons, are the largest animals ever known. The biggest dinosaurs, like Argentinosaurus, were around 100 feet long but didn’t match the whale’s weight. Ancient sea creatures like Shonisaurus were large too, but still smaller. Nature sure produced some giants in every era!

During Jurassic period to Cretaceous period the oxygen content in land masses in Pangea super continent was 42% and oxygen content in Panthalassa ocean was hardly 18% . So land animals were huge and marine animals were small at that time .
But today cyano Bacterias , Prochlorococcus, Planktons growing very fast my in deep Oceans which are producing Oxygen in large amount causing the rapid growth of extra large sizes of deep ocean animals .
