Changing the Zero 10x component is super easy and simple.(if you don’t remember each stuff... just label them) the only hard thing with this scooter is infact the wiring issue.... since half of the wire is how much extra wire there are and to feed them back in properly takes time because there’s limited space.
the duel controllers is simple you cant run 2 motors from 1 controller since the front and rear will not be spinning at the same speed all the time think of it like a welded diff in a car if you put the car on full lock and go slow you will hear the wheels skip as there not turning at the same speed you really dont want that to start happening on your front tire when your going around a corner
Hey please help me, i have the zero 10x and Under the cable shield in the handlebars there is a wire inside which there are 3 wires inside of him: red, green and black and they were wrapped in white tape in a bad way so I wanted to replace the tape and then suddenly the scooter stopped working and did not open again... please tell me what to do if you know.
Hoq did you learn it was the controller on your scooter? My Zero 10X just broke down when going up a hill, no fall though I think something might have gotten overloaded, It wont turn the wheel when I push the throttle, but when I hit the dual motor then the other motor on front wheel starts spinning but regardless of if im pushing the throttle or not, it speeds up when I go into mode 2 and 3 and when I turn off dual mode it shops turning. What do you think, controller problem or something else? Yeah I had reduced the motor power in the settings to 80% before, changing it to 100% didnt fix anything though.
Did you solve this? I wonder if its a short cicuit between the throttle signal to a power line so it always thinks its full power, rear might also be trying to go full speed but the motor controller might have died, thats all based on no experience with a scooter though
Yes! if in fact the battery physically fits inside the deck. After swapping in my 60v 20a battery. Change the P03 settings from 52v to 60v. lastly change setting P15 from 41v to 52v cutout. Hope this helps anyone.
@UCAxpMSSpZbgaK1Oe3AiN8hA @UCyrTk2SXIMaMt4DXbOxynwg does anyone know how to remove the speed limiter on the 10x 60v? I've seen other videos on instructing to cut white wires in the front either underneath the wrapped up part of the cables going up by stem/handlebars, or to unscrew the front right corner and cut them there but my problem is that i don't see any white wires anywhere at either of those places.. and yes by p8 setting is at 100 already. any help would be awesome. shit i forgot to mention that the scooter does go about 36ish but I've seen faster so idk really if its limited or not but i want to find whatever wire the limiter is and either cut it or unplug it and see what the top speed will be then. i have a Joyor lr8 and its advertised to go 27mph and those shady ass unprofessional scammers set the scooter up to where it just reads 27 on the odometer instead of actually going that speed, don't buy shit from them, seriously. anyways, i was looking at the controller and there was a long blue wire already cut and when i connected it by twisting the wire together just to see what would happen i noticed the speed went way down, so they shipped it already witht the limiter vut. I'm hoping that isn't the case with the zero though i guess is my point here
@@iangroover1188 I weigh about 75kg-80kg and I get to 37mph with P settings on max acceleration. If they were limited by EU regulations they would be going 25kph max? Which is single motor gear one in eco mode top speeds. If you still want to check then open the deck and look for mysterious double white wires.. People also advise to change your wheel diameters to 9.4 instead of 10 in the p settings, so I can assume that the speedo is probably inaccurate anyway. I will test a top speed, fully charged run tomorrow with my phone and look for any indescretions
China product is always bonker to figure out, quantity is priority than quality. That wiring can be done properly but they don't care, what matters is how many they can sell in large volume! Your scooter was also being distributed in different brand name with the same component and design.
wiring is a mess, true, but, a i see other scooters and is similiar. Big thumbs up for zero is in "cooling system" - metal sheet with thermal paste. I didnt see anythink like that on same or more powerfull controlers. I saw controlers doubleside taped inside so absolutely no conection with base of scooter. True is, controllers are cheap :(
Check out what the cheap Xiaomi scooters or Ninebot Max looks like inside. Their build quality inside out is so much better. Just sucks that they have such small batteries and motors.
@@DanceySteveYNWA hey I'm getting serious battery drop off all the way till the voltage reader fads out to zero 0 😱 I had to push it home on my way back from work the other day it came back to life the next day but am now scared 😨to ride to work incase it happens further away from home then I would be stuffed
Wish you actually showed how you changed it :(

Does this use two separate controllers? Are they both the same as each other or different for front and rear motors?
Brooo how did u get that controller off? Mine is like glued and i cannot get it out
Does it fit a 72v controller and a 72v battery?
I wonna change mine for 72v controller and battery but will it work
How do I take the deck plate off?
@simple reviews hey man what handle bars do you have on your zero10x they look awesome!
Dude next time - please film inside so that we dont have to hear the wind blow directly towards the mic

How you get 73mph on 3rd gear or it that the speed on gear 3 ?
That's kph and you never reach these speeds when riding scooter

@@bjornvanoppen well then you might want to take a look at the righting on the motors. 52v 1000 60v 1200

Mine the front motor (cable is cut) and front controller is broken now I need to replace them both
each motor needs a controller
Hi,,how do you know which controller gets burned?to replace him??

why did you have to change it
reare wheel stoped from spiing and was braking
I wanna know how you open it
Just unscrew the deck and remove plastic corner pieces where the lights/cables go in.
The wiring is a mess indeed.
you made it a mess by pulling all the wires out like that you have to be neat with it and careful its not hard if you label the wires.

I have a similar brand that comes from the same factory, and one of my motor controllers stopped working. I think these scooters are chinese junk.
