Great information! Is This video also applies for a tummy tuck ? Not just for lipo.
This is specifically for liposuction (or a BBL which includes liposuction). I never suggest to compress after a tummy tuck--it is dangerous to wear boards and compress the abdomen after a tummy tuck.
💋 💋💋 fantastic video as always. Your way of explaining anatomy is 👏👏👏👏. MLD is the most difficult, obtuse class I've ever taken. It was 20+ years ago, and I still frown when I think about it 😂😂😂.
Hi Dr William. Love your work. I’ve been trying to get a consultation but no one is responding to my emails.
Not sure who you are emailing but you are always welcome to email me if you like. My email is drwilliammiami@icloud.com
When will the roller restock ?
It is arriving in Miami in mid August so hopefully back in stock in a month.
Hi doctor great video where can I buy the Fibro garment
Hi! Here is a link for the FibroGuard: ogeerecovery.com/products/fibroguard-post-liposuction-fibrosis-prevention-garment
When having a tummy tuck with liposuction (on the back) can you wear the faja right away or do you have to wait for two weeks because of the circulation? And what about the boards?
I start my patients in a faja 2 weeks after a TT with lipo 360 and I never have them use boards in the front after a tummy tuck.
I had my TT and lipo 360 done. I’m 2 weeks post. I have been using your Ogee roller everyday over my garment and started using the roller over bare skin this week (actually the roller helps to relieve the tightness).
This week I am expecting your faja and fibroguard to arrive. Should I go straight to using them since this week will be my third week? My sutures are still on can I use the fibroguard?
I do have some lumps and bumps here and there and still so sore in some areas from the lipo.
My one month post is in two weeks and hopefully by then I’ll get the ok to start using the scar tape. Once I get the ok, then I will be using your scar gel too 😊
@DrWilliam I love your videos they are very informational.
I’m about week one post op with TT and lipo. I’m planning to wear your faja after week two with fibroguard for 3 months per your protocol. I just need the right fit.
At what stage should the faja be worn tighter. I’m getting mixed information all over the internet. Some say it should be worn tighter stage one then looser stage 2. Then on others vise versa.
I’m ordering your faja and fibroguard, my preop size says faja should be xl and fibroguard size large. But I’m afraid that after my two weeks post op going forward I won’t need the XL. If I buy them both in large will the large faja fit with the large fibroguard on? Will it have enough stretch? Or do I need to get the xl faja?
Do you have any videos on how to wear each stage? Right now I am wearing foam on my back and sides and nothing in the front as it is very uncomfortable due to my tt.
Please help I need to order your faja and fibroguard asap so I get them by next week 😊
I already ordered your roller and the scar gel pen 😁
First off the reason you are confused is because there is NO stage 2 or Stage 3. These are made up by people who sell fajas and try to sell multiple fajas. It is total garbage. A faja shold always fit snuggly but not too tight. Period. At every "stage". I suggest wearing boards for 2 weeks to prevent seroma but then STOP to prevent fibrosis and wear FibroGuard under the faja. You don't need to compress the hell out of everything. That won't get you smaller. If you have internal fat lose weight to get flatter. We are focused on the quality of the skin. Get the best quality of the skin by rolling and wearing fibroguard and a comfortably fitting faja. It is that simple.
@@DrWilliamMiamiI had TT and lipo 360 done. In one of your videos you said not to use board over your TT incision (I put in my back and sides).
I’ve been gently rolling the Ogee roller over my compression garment and when tolerable I’ll go over the skin. And I do my own massages.
How about if you have a tummy tuck?
This protocol only applies for liposuction. I will post the Tummy Tuck Recovery Protocol soon.
Hi I was wondering how long after liposuction and bbl can I hold my 18lbs baby?
As soon as you feel you can. The only restriction after a BBL is no sitting for 2 weeks. There are no restrictions after liposuction.
If my surgery includes upper back Lipo and a breast reduction/lift, do i need boards for those areas? And what about the roller, can i use on my breasts?
I don't think you need boards or Fibroguard. Just foams and a faja. No roller needed either. Just massages in that area should suffice.
Hi Dr. The place I'm interested in for my bbl', you Don't meet the plastic surgeon until the day of the surgery. Is that typical?
Dear Dr William your job is amazing I finally made it to Miami i start working now save up money and come to see you to get my dream body GOD WILLING much love 💕
Godspeed.
