jin was proclaimed as the silver voice by the grammys. he has the power to adapt to any kind of song and you'll see his falsettos are beautiful and he can very easily belt out his high notes in his real voice which is very very difficult. normally, the other members while belting out high notes, use their falsettos but jin can belt out those high notes in his real voice with so much ease.

I went to see them live in with two of my son's female friends (I am 55.) I happen to be sat next to a young man with Cerebral Palsey who was by himself. He sobbed his eyes out during this song. He told me how much this song meant to him. I will never forget him or this performance. I tear up every single time.

When you react to awake you will maybe realize it’s like a part 1 of Epiphany, atleast that’s what I always say. When I saw Epiphany live unfortunately not at a concert that is the moment Jin became my bias. I hope you check out the documentary about Kim Seokjin it will give you an insight on who he really is and how much impact he has made within BTS. Many people think he is a moodmaker and calls himself world wide handsome but he is actually shy and he does it so other people can be comfortable. Jin is so pure, so humble, so positive, so caring and I often feel like we don’t deserve him. From the bottom of my heart I appreciate your reaction so much 😊💜

Experiencing this song when the whole stadium was singing in korean for kim seok jin and realizing i was in Bangkok (and another time in California ) with diff ARMYs nationalities were around me. I had more tears in my eyes. Try watching a different live where you can hear ARMYs sing with him and cheering his name 😭💜 thank you again for doing solo week!

I'm not able to count how much I cried with this song in the start of my ARMY journey until healing it me. In brazil concert, ARMYS sang so loud, even during the pause, and you can hear it on the DVD even with the sound of the audience muffled in the edition.

Did you know that Jin is a Grammy acclaimed silver voice and is heavily praised by music critics? Yes, that's our Worldwide Talented Guy 💜💜 Jin is a performer.. Yes he didn't have choreography or grand props, and it was just him and a piano.. but he had the whole stadium at the palm of his hands with his beautiful vocals (and handsome stares lol 🤩) He's the only one who could get a stadium filled with thousands of people to sing "I'm the one I should love" .. Fans have shared vids from the concert and it gave me goosebumps and i'm sad I never got to experience it live.. He never fails to deliver the emotions of the song and that's why he stood out to me from the beginning. He is the one who evokes the most emotions and paired with his honey vocals is just perfection 💜💜 Thank you for your amazing reaction! I'm glad you enjoyed it and loved the song. I’ve seen a lot of vlogs about thier concerts. Everysingle one of them had goosebumps or cried during Jin’s performance. So true that he owned the entire stadium. Im really looking forward to see their concerts after the pandemic so I could also experience it.
For me out of all solo songs Jin's songs are mostly the one wh has the deepest meaning behind...something that is also relatable to most of us.

Loved your reaction. Jin plays the central character in the BTS Universe Storyline and if you think about it “that look” you noticed and the overall emotional tone of his performance is the same throughout several BTS MV’s because he is portraying the same character throughout. It’s more evident in the gorgeous Epiphany MV. When you’re ready to take the dive into the BU you will look at their catalog in a different light and greatly appreciate how all of the members fictional characters are linked💜 BTW they are making a KDrama series based on BU.

This was my favorite from the concerts that my daughter and I attended. Imagine Jin’s beautiful voice, 50,000 people singing the chorus with him, and a stadium full of swaying purple Army Bombs. Stunning!

Ayu U Both!! My daughter has been an Army since 2014. She never played her music around me, because she didn’t think I would like it. Three years ago I had to get a new car, and it came with Bluetooth. That’s when she started playing K-pop for me. I liked it, especially BTS. We went to our first concert in Chicago in 2018, and I was absolutely blown away! I had not seen any BTS music videos, so I did not know about all the dancing! The addition of the ARMY Bombs, and especially the incredible energy in the arena, from both BTS and Army was amazing. I have been an Army ever since. I am convinced that one of the reasons BTS has so many older fans is because of people just like me who were introduced to them by their kids. 💜

What I love about Jin is that, apart from his handsomeness and beautiful voice he has a great personality,he is funny, humble,caring, selfless, simple and has a strong mindset. Suga once said all BTS members have ups and downs and they've changed a lot but he said Jin remain the same as when they were little.
He also has a strong mentality he doesn't want to show his emotions often he is the kind who tend to suffers silently. Like he said"your hard work is only for you to know".

Honestly, when i first heard this song, the way he delivers, the emotions he pours into it, the expression on his face, even if you don't know the language, it says it all. But after knowing the lyrics and re-watch it again, I teared a bit I have to admit. I'm the one I should love. Take good care of yourself, because only you can.

The first time I heard this song was when it just popped up in my Spotify recommended songs. I'm not sad or emotional that time, just chilling and casually listening to music. I didn't know the lyrics yet but when it came to the part on "I'm the one I should love...", I kid you not, a tear just fell down on my face. That's the first time I was moved like that by a song. After that I looked for the English translation of the lyrics while listening to it again, and it just happened, I cried so hard. But at the same time I felt comforted. That's why I'm amazed when you said you felt like you're hugged by a blanket. I think this experience is really an example of when music really moved you. Another instance that made me moved like that was during the first time I heard RM's whole mixtape, Mono. And I saw a lot of posts from ARMYs all over the world, with different language and culture, experienced the same thing. This is what makes BTS music special, it's something that can only be created with sincere intent and passion.

Jimin's Serendipity is about being in love with someone (Written by RM)
Jungkook's Euphoria is about the happiness of being in love
V's Singularity is about being broken because of love(Written by RM)
Jin's Epiphany is about realizing that you should love yourself
And you guys saw the stage mix and noted the different pianos is that we have one in the past the with candles and stuff, we have the small one for the present and the one for the future is that modern visual piano from the video with him in a purple hair, it's all connected to the story line and this character same for the rain going up, even through the music video is difficult to understand his character but basically he is the center of the story line, we already know what he does and his role. I'm not saying nothing right now for you guys because all the bangtan universe is complex and takes a lot of time and effort, so if you guys wanna try some day we are more than happy to help and explain

One of my favorite live epiphany performace was in brazil. Brazil army was so very sweet. During epiphany they made a heart event. Usually jin doing a heart event in their wings tour concert but this time brazil doing that for jin. Everytime he sing this song everyone also sing well with him. (also his song awake everyone also sing with him, kindly watch the ph fan cam during their concert in ph. Goosebumps. )
