Loved the soldier feeding young children. Very touching. Very innocent.
And the man feeding the criminal?
WOWZERS. What an eye-opening set of photos. Brilliant upload!!!
Sister of that< picture. I had older parents..from what I was told and what I' ve read about the Great Depression, WW11,( my father joined before the first was over), and my mom telling us of the Hard Times, we today are so weak now, if our power went out, you could survive, but most would whine ..thanks, mom and dad, for the survival instincts and common sense ( and depression recipes) to keep all four of us children going...and the heart's desire to live in the country, like Daddy did, one of us is there now, one in Heaven, the other two, nearly there! Thank you, God❤❤
So absorbing. Photography is powerful. Fun fact, I smiled when I saw the girls being sent home from school for wearing pants in 1946. 30 years later we had to do the same thing while working as operators at the phone company. We weren’t visible to the public but were required to have a suit jacket visible when we were finally allowed to wear pants suits. Later went through the whole process again to wear our jeans. This was after we had fought to be able to wear jeans to school in the 60’s.
2 photos stand out the most for me. 1. The 2 children in 1940 in NYC, one black one white. Both having fun. 2. Roman Polanski photo.
For me, it's:
1. The shaming of "deserters" of wars (started by the Elites, who funded both sides), and the caprion that some were killed for leaving a war that was unjust and based on lies, as they all were. And
2. The picture of the couple that just found out their child was missing. Probably trafficked. All that was hidden will soon come to light. 💯
Reàlly enjoyed this video. Music fitted well, too (so many videos have really irritating music!). Great job! Thank you.
Wow! Another one couple of rare photos! It's so good! Thank you so much!!!
we don't know the meaning of the word poverty
Yes buty father did he lived. through they depression and so did mother but both got good jobs and they invested wisely so I don't know poverty v
Wanna bet? It’s called Bidenomics.
I do
Been there. And you will see a lot more of it if the orange cheats regains the office of presudent.
@@TheKlbrister They starved and you can't buy a new car or a house with all the appliances and computers? You think that is the same thing? Sad.
LOVE this compilation!
The one where swimmers casually watch H bomb testing. It put shivers down my spine.
Wow! Although, many have already said this, I couldn't keep it to myself. I thank God for all those wonderful men and women who had their cameras on them. Where would we be with out them and film cameras. Thank God, that there are photo collectors who share this memorable and historical images with us all. Thank God and thank you.
All of these photos impacted me immensely.thank you.

The visual phone call, 40 years ago in 1964! How amazing. Love the Romanian Women Fighters, they were amazing!

Drunk Basket.
Great collection 👍
Krystal the Waitress reminds me of
the comedy series of Flo. 😊
Really exceptional!
I loved seeing photos I haven't seen before. Some are very touching.
Fabulous!
very strong photos. hats off to you. The Welshman with the coracle...
Thank you for the glimpse into the past. 3:28 Would not want to parallel park with that. 😄 9:33 what is in his backpack ? 10:48 Why were there covered wagons in the background ? Is that a studio lot ? 15:33 People got too close to wild animals even then. 😃 18:07 Adorable. The expression on the little girl's face. She is putting her heart into her moves.
Brilliant !
Makes me feel old when photos of my childhood and teenage years show up in these!😊
Powerful .👍
Awesome All.
Anastasia And Roman Polanski... I cant even imagine what he is feeling at that moment...
15 year old girl fighting for her cause
0:28 The people in Haarlem is so sad- the little children should be the ones still living, but there is only one.
I wonder what happened to all the children.......
Swimmers in Las Vegas pool watching the mushroom cloud.
Music and photos were inspiring.
That's a 1965 (or '66) Cadillac at 3:33
Low riding land whale. 😄
Def a 1965. 1966 has a coarser mesh radiator grille and smaller side markers.
You know that Cadillac coupe Deville was photo shopped for sure.
There was at least one woman who was "outstanding-in-her-field"
I liked the enlarged photo of a Dust Bowl peasant mother in desperate poverty being held by that same woman, thriving many years later.
Loved these so much. Had not seen the members of the Mickey Mouse Club since the TV show went off the air. Yeah, I’m old, but it’s really weird and touching to remember a TV show you grew up with after seeing these photos. My memories are now “historical” photos.
Best set of "oldie pictures" ever
Thank you for showing the coracle. My stepmother was Welsh and she often spoke of the fishermen using these boats. I had an idea of what they looked like but didn’t know for sure until this video.
The picture of the couple on the beach after they had lost their baby was intense and heartbreaking.
Amazing photos, even more so in color!
Thank you for sharing. 😊
10:57. Fast forward, about 20 or 30 years: let’s count the cancer patients.........15:36 is this the moment before the ‘roo disembowels her with his back feet?
I don’t understand photo 2. How can Al that people be dead in 38 years. All this children died? How is that possible?
What piano music was played at the beginning of the photos?
I remember the picture phone at Radio Shack in the US.
The two old Civil War veterans; one fought for the South and one fought for the North, sitting side by side. The group of Dutch resistance fighters celebrating the death of Hitler. And the final one of the little boy and girl dancing in the streets of New York.
Couple on the beach having lost their child
👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
7:35 love her attitude!
Where/how do you get these photos?
Online archives?
Life is full of tragedy and ecstasy

WTF!
Old Jimmy found out what happens when you mess with the Kennedy's....
Your music was actually not too bad.
Hoffa!
anyone recognize who she is in the glamour photo of the blonde 7:02 ?
Wow....Krystal Mess....the original Karen...famous for Patty cake, Patty cake, Microwave.....😮
The two woman Armenian soldiers 1895. Jimmy Hoffa flipping off RFK 1957.The girl getting a ticket for wearing a bikini in Italy 1957. Teenage girls getting sent home from school for wearing slacks, 1946 and my favorite is the celebration of the Dutch Resistance hearing Adolf Hitler was dead.
How did the people inflate the animal skins used as navigation devices to cross the rivers before they had bridges to cross the waters?
You can see one man blowing it up. Must be a hole in the foot.
why did Aeolis die?
You’re saying that out of 60 odd people from Harlem, 12 of them young children, after 8 years, only 11 survived? That’s a frightening statistic.
You can’t do math very well can you. It was 38 years later.
❤❤
Even more frightening is that people are upvoting your comment.
Those children surely happened to be there at that moment. All children love to take part in photographs. The grown ups are famous musicians. The surviving ones were contacted for another photo in 1996, while those children... how would they contact them if they surely did not even know their names?
😢❤❤❤
We will know starvation.
If we do, I'll be prepared. I've starved myself and there is only hunger for the first 3 days. I've conditioned myself to feel successful when I feel hunger so it's rewarding to me and beyond those first 3 days it's a piece of cake! Haha!! Depending on how much fat you have at the beginning, you can live for at least a couple of months. If you are an average American, you will live much longer. It is not the same for water, however, and I think you will die after only a few days without it. I advise you to investigate this for yourself, though, and you will also need to understand re-feeding if you do begin to eat again. This is very important so please pay attention to the medically established guidelines for re-introducing food to your body. It would be such a shame to survive hunger only to sicken yourself by incorrect eating at the end! I don't know how badly it can screw you up, but you don't want years of digestion problems or opportunistic diseases to make your life miserable! I hope we won't have to go through anything that causes mass starvation, but if it happens through war or some natural disaster that we cannot avoid, then at least we should prepare ourselves for a chance to survive. I think. For now. It depends on what's going to be left for us, and if we think it will be worth living through. Well, have a great and happy day!! Bye!
@eilenekellogg-ki2br A true pessimist.
Hoffa flipping Robert K.
At least half of these were taken from another site's collection😡
The Confederate and Union soldiers look like their in love.
They were survivors. They knew something you will never know.
Two American women going to fight the Ottoman empire

Mention javing to eat bean saneiches ehen she was uounger
Woman taking frozen long underwear off the line in heels...
I have not time to read about photos...why are you in a hurry!?!?
Every single picture is staged, which at its time in history renders it propoganda.
Roman Polanski.
The coracle boat is Irish not welsh
I could have done without the Polanski photo.
Made me wonder what he was thinking and feeling.
