Loved getting to lead a kroot rebellion against Tau Nick himself! What an absolute pleasure it was to play this game and get to share my dino riding chickens with the world. Thanks again!
Fun fact: The Kroot ate some Catachans once and gained increased muscle mass, a love for Red Bandanas, and a dislike for being told what to do by their superiors. This is canon btw.
Nick definitely operates on "What would be the cool/fun thing to do?" logic, and I love it. Winning is secondary to just having a great time. I mean unless you're going to a tournament, but ya know, most of the time.
The fact that Nick could literally show up to a game and play a list made up of a Timmies coffee and half a $5 foot-long but still have fun is the reason I love your content. This was a joy to watch and props on the amazing Kroo'khari!
These converted armies are so fun to see. I'm a fan of the crocodile/alligator "grotesques". But man, it really seemed like Scott's rolling was either hot or cold, with little in between.
Been really wanting Drukhari gameplay. Though it may not have been the Drukhari I wanted, it was the Drukhari I needed. Beautiful conversions. Great game.
I clicked on this video SO fast. I run an all Kroot army and they are my favourite faction in 40k! In the Grim Darkness of the far future... the chickens eat you! Side note, those are some great conversions, but I'm sad they're not played as actual Kroot. It's a fun army and a really crazy matchup vs Tau.
The quality of the models and the boards etc is just incredible. I mean just fantastic production value and editing to cut it down to 45 mins as well. I bought a shirt just now just to give back for so many awesome videos. More Necrons though. Our number is legion.
That table looks amazing. NICE proxy army by Scott - good use of all the various bits! Thanks to Nick for staying up past the midnight hour to prepare new Farsight for this game. Great content, folks!
one of those episodes where I thought "wow, Nick hasn't split fired yet and he's doing so well, so I doubt he - " and then he split fires. great content, always
Bruh, those D3 damage Rail Rifles got me nervous for a second. I thought I'd been playing that gun wrong for a year. But no, Nick gave himself a (probably unintentional) micronerf. All of that aside, this video was fantastic as always, lads. Thank you to everyone for gracing us with 45 minutes of top shelf 40K.
I'd have preferred if you called them Kroo-Khari. I love the Witch/Succubus Conversions for those Kroot with the Daemonette bits, it's so Drukhari. GG.
Very fun game! Loving these converted armies coming on play on, and so much high energy at one table! Also Nic actually scored overwhelming fire power in turn 3, cause he took out the Talos, the single Kabalite and the unit with flamers
The Kroot-khari are awesome! Fantastic idea. This is the kind of stuff I live for in the hobby - "I have a very specific idea and there's no full army that truly fits that idea." = Goes hunting for most similar rules - "It's free real estate." As I jump in said faction's tank of choice and drive away, cackling madly while the Arbites pursue.
great battle, great players with good attitudes, wonderful conversions and Tau Nick's "Farsight paintjob" is superb. Is that some wax? Farsight is looking shiny!
I love your Tau terrain. Rockin! I do have a challenge for you guys. How about a game where the entire board is a terrain feature. I.E. Massive Jungle/Forest Catachan vs Kroot! Or a battle in shallow water :)
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would root for a dark elf army against the Tau, my least favorite faction against my most, but I absolutely love the concept behind that converted army!
This honestly makes me wonder if you guys have see nthe video of the guy who did a full Tau conversion into a Kroot force, upto and including a Tau-nar into a Krootasaurus!
I didn't even know there were this many kroot options, it would be cool if tau got more options since it's always talked how they have the other allies with them
Posting before turn 1 begins - does anyone else scream at their phone when Nick plays with the black dice? YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ROLL THE BLACK DICE!!
You know something, folks? I do wish Games Workshop see this battle and make this makeshift cool Kroot army into an official one, but.... A man can dream, can I...? :( In any case, major thanks for posting this awesome video! ^_^
I’ve been playing a 100% kroot army with a comander eatheral and parhana conversion and 160 kroot I’ve been having a blast and have won games with it in competition
Hey man, all infantry lists can be really good in some matchups. They just don't have the volume to kill you or the bodies to contest the points, so you just win
I just love the idea of those Dinosaurs moving 14 inches, 20 with aethersails Oof, bad rolling with Drukhari is never fun, and buddy had some rough rolls.
I'd so loose in these games. . Though I do like to watch these. They are so tactical, where as I make a backstory for my every unit and sometimes my role-playing that means I often don't act rationally but rather emotionally. Depending on the story of my unit. Like if I have an unit that has in a previous game suffered by a certain type of unit, I attach that to their story so that they either want revenge of to not fight making my decisions more role-play than tactic. Fortunately I have a friend with same heresy and we have fun and it's really not about the win..
Loved getting to lead a kroot rebellion against Tau Nick himself! What an absolute pleasure it was to play this game and get to share my dino riding chickens with the world. Thanks again!
You definitely played well and had a good attitude despite your rolling. Well done.
I absolutely love what you did with your Kroot conversions! Great game and I really hope to see you back on the channel!
Thanks!
The dice betrayed my friend. Just as they have betrayed me. We shall join in a vengeful union and show them their core.
That was a sick army. I love seeing it. Lots of luck with it in the future!
Fun fact: The Kroot ate some Catachans once and gained increased muscle mass, a love for Red Bandanas, and a dislike for being told what to do by their superiors. This is canon btw.
Please. What story? I need this.
@@borisdorofeev5602 It's not canon. Sly Marbo erased it.
Nick: I like high risk high reward plays
Also Nick: often opts for the highest risk lowest reward play (split fire)
Nick definitely operates on "What would be the cool/fun thing to do?" logic, and I love it. Winning is secondary to just having a great time. I mean unless you're going to a tournament, but ya know, most of the time.
The potential to kill more units does make it higher reward.
The fact that Nick could literally show up to a game and play a list made up of a Timmies coffee and half a $5 foot-long but still have fun is the reason I love your content.
This was a joy to watch and props on the amazing Kroo'khari!
I wish we had Timmies in California...
This might be my favorite Play on Tabletop episode
Nice minor spelling mistake chucklenuts
Me too, then again dinosaurs are cool so was a win by default lol
By now I think Shaso Kickasso has forever warped my perception of Tau results in melee... Guy's a monster...
those tau onager gauntlets make terminator power fists look like sockem bopers.
its really nice in 10th since all mechs have melee now
These converted armies are so fun to see. I'm a fan of the crocodile/alligator "grotesques". But man, it really seemed like Scott's rolling was either hot or cold, with little in between.
Katie Perry wrote a song about my dice rolls. 😂
First the Grot Guard, and now these Kroot-Dar? Love seeing these zany armies showcased in the best battle reports on UA-cam!
Been really wanting Drukhari gameplay. Though it may not have been the Drukhari I wanted, it was the Drukhari I needed. Beautiful conversions. Great game.

I don't know which is more impressive, either the kroot army or that TauNick manage to escape the Emperor's Sacrifice
Probably the latter
Or plot twist he’s playing kroot
The quality of the models and the boards etc is just incredible. I mean just fantastic production value and editing to cut it down to 45 mins as well. I bought a shirt just now just to give back for so many awesome videos.

I love seeing Scott again! Dude brings a ton of fun when he's on, and with Nick to bounce off, this ep. should be great!
Thanks I hope I can make more appearances in future! ❤
Wonderful energy for this game. Definitely would love to see more of Scott on the channel.
Scott was such a fun guest and his army is beautiful! You guys do great work, but this video was just amazing
Thanks so much! ❤
one of those episodes where I thought "wow, Nick hasn't split fired yet and he's doing so well, so I doubt he - " and then he split fires. great content, always
scott and nick are amazing for these for fun games. I love it. I miss the serious seasons, but this is just a blast.
I’ve wanted to make an all Kroot army and it’s so cool to see one
DUDE, I was so hyped for the kroot thinking they released an army without me knowing it.

I loved the Kroot/Drukhari army. Very awesome conversion. Absolutely fun game to watch too!
I'm soooo happy to see tau!!! Especially kroot the lore they have is a favorite of mine.
So great! Another brilliant episode. Amazing work play on crew!
This is probably my favorite episode yet! Nick is the whole reason I want to play Tau!
ohh my emperor! This is gonna to be awesome! Always wanted to see Kroot fighting tau!
The Kroot-khari are awesome! Fantastic idea. This is the kind of stuff I live for in the hobby - "I have a very specific idea and there's no full army that truly fits that idea." = Goes hunting for most similar rules - "It's free real estate."
As I jump in said faction's tank of choice and drive away, cackling madly while the Arbites pursue.
Love me drukhari on the channel, and that's the strangest custom army I've seen. Fair dues to him.
I absolutely love the idea of using Kroot eating everything and anything to proxy for almost any army with the same models each time. Great game guys!
Awesome! That converted army was so good 😊
Great match, great content and great spirit of the players, loved it!
great battle, great players with good attitudes, wonderful conversions and Tau Nick's "Farsight paintjob" is superb. Is that some wax? Farsight is looking shiny!
Turbo Dork metallic paint is amazing. This one is Redrum
Great battle report. I always say Tau should have a small bit of melee, but this was combat Tau, and it was glorious !
I need to know the list on these things so I can make a Kroot Dar T'au empire army
I really enjoyed this match x keep it up guys!!!
I'm pretty sure I've said this before on other videos but man, Nick seems like such an absolute pleasure to play against.
I love your Tau terrain. Rockin! I do have a challenge for you guys. How about a game where the entire board is a terrain feature. I.E. Massive Jungle/Forest Catachan vs Kroot! Or a battle in shallow water :)
Scott seems like such a cool guy. I want to be his friend.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would root for a dark elf army against the Tau, my least favorite faction against my most, but I absolutely love the concept behind that converted army!
I'm glad you appreciate it! Thanks for cheering for me!
@@scottdewynter-wilkie5346 you gave a good fight and I’ll be here to cheer you one once more should you come back for another go with them!
Amazing conversions from this dude, but man he’s got some rough luck on the dice in the last 2 games. But, I love his sportsmanship
Thanks! Dice tell stories and I'm just happy to roll them!
Whoop whoop 🎉 For the enclaves :)
Nick Farsight looks awesome 🤩
Oooof Scott's dice were frigid with those rolls.
man how many 1s did that dude roll! very creative with the kroot dar though :)
Can not wait for my boarding patrol to come in with the new Farsight...it looks....so nice
this was an amazing game, also gotta love tau melee combat
I would absolutely love to play my Drukhari list against Nick's Tau. Different style completly
I have officially found my favorite conversion army
Thank you ❤
Awesome game! Love the army conversion.
The terrain for Tau battle reports never fails to amaze me
As I said the other day, I can't wait to start my Tau army!
Great game with a really fun converted army! :)
This honestly makes me wonder if you guys have see nthe video of the guy who did a full Tau conversion into a Kroot force, upto and including a Tau-nar into a Krootasaurus!
I have. We would love to have him on if he’s ever in town
I have I'm in a kroot fan page with him!
kickasso doing it again. huge damage.
Another great video as always!
I didn't even know there were this many kroot options, it would be cool if tau got more options since it's always talked how they have the other allies with them
Is there a summary of the exploits of Shas'o Kick'ass'o that I can read somewhere?
Nick “The Kroot have betrayed the Tau”
Ironic coming from the betrayer *cough guardsman Nick, genestealer Nick, Eldar Nick, cough*
Those were really wholesome games! they motivated each other and it was fun to watch.
Just sad nothing exploded
Great job with those Kroot!
Incredible conversion work
Everyone is talking about the armies and I'm over here drooling over the terrain
Oh sure, rub it in that you got the ray boarding patrol.
Love the paint job on the T'au!
you guys need to do more HH or maybe some exodite stuff
Love Nick’s enthusiasm 😂
Posting before turn 1 begins - does anyone else scream at their phone when Nick plays with the black dice? YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ROLL THE BLACK DICE!!

The Riptide is such an awesom model. I love it.
I really wish the smaller suits took some more inspiration from Machinen Krieger or Ma. K.
Wow, Cows eating chickens, it truly is a grim dark future.
I love the metallic paint job. Do you have a video of you painting the tau
So great to see Nick bringing his tau back more
the kroot need to become a faction
kroot vs guard
chicken apocalypse
chicken riding bigger chicken apocalypse
I mean, I dunno if GW would ever do it, but I'd love to see it. There's tons of 'smaller' factions out there that could be awesome.
Tau Nick won me back with that chicken pun
What a great batt rep
PSA: Do NOT watch hungry or you will end up ordering chicken
Too late. Also ordered fish and chips.
I just love the idea of those Dinosaurs moving 14 inches, 20 with aethersails
Oof, bad rolling with Drukhari is never fun, and buddy had some rough rolls.
Let's appreciate the fact that this dude foreseen entire kroot detachement.
I didn't even know kroot were a thing. I'm torn now between that or Tyranid
Kroot serious need their own codex
Looks like This is the Year of Conversions.
Where do they get those awesome T'au themed terrain pieces?
Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think the Kroot player was rolling FNP for the wracks this game. They have the insensible to pain ability
I did some of it edited out. If you watched the rest of the rolls it was more of the same 😂.
Truck says taco, vibe is chimichanga.
I'd so loose in these games. . Though I do like to watch these.
They are so tactical, where as I make a backstory for my every unit and sometimes my role-playing that means I often don't act rationally but rather emotionally. Depending on the story of my unit.

Fortunately I have a friend with same heresy and we have fun and it's really not about the win..
My only question is how the Riptide managed to fix those attack rolls against it to be 1s all the time.
Kroot go chomp
Nah Vespids going to rain death from above
16:11 Farsight is secretly Khornate, so this tracks.
He's got _another_ cool converted army? :O
Love his custom armies
Itd be great to see the Kroot betray the Tau to become it's own faction.
Finding myself emotionally invested in the fate of Chassaeu Kickassaue each game.
The melee Tau adventure!
much love for Kroot army.
Fish a friends, not food, so... I'm gonna have to go with Chicken Tacos on this one.
idk. I think the nids do "you are what you eat" a bit better.
I need a body count for Chasso Kick-asso, that model killed so much stuff
