ok so youve had both over a year now....44 or Rico? which one are you grabbing first on the way out to the field of a slow pitch game?
I just got my glove from 44. a EX-10 12in mens softball. Pro stiff and kip lining. The glove is like it was dipped in metal. I wanted a break in challenge and boi did i get it. I could barely put my hand in the glove. It was killing my hand I was thinking if they made it for womens hands. So i also had to break in the inside. Well all is going well. its starting to feel better. Sure once its fully broken in it will be great. Their leather is really nice compared to rawlings. I will one day get a wilson to see how they are.
You should get one for your channel. Would show your work off well. Literally I couldn't close it a half inch. yes i can force it but you know what that would do. Now i can move it a little with 2 in the pinky. i am just doing couch catch and mallet. Also using leather lotion.
Don’t be shy to try hot water on them. It really makes a difference. Follow that up with some catch with a heavy ball you it was form to your hand.
I saw you put hot water in the beginning.. The screen cut and you were working the glove after. How long after you apply the water do you start working the glove? do you let the water seep in the leather or wipe it off after its wet?
I just made my custom 44 order last night and I want to try my hand at breaking in a glove beyond the old wilson glove oil and stick it under a mattress, work it, put it back for days and days. lol.
I heard that some 44 gloves when run with hot water the dye would run. Have you experienced that?

Simple man.. what size?im the same way got 2 44s theyre both black and tan.. IF 11.5& OF / Softball 12.75 im waitin on now .. idk why they dont make OF in dual welting ?!
