So beautiful song I'm so in love with native American culture although i don't have any native American heritage but most of my friends do (they're Lakota Sioux and Cherokee) They made me discover this beautiful culture ❤
It was really cool today the running thinder came to my school and played red rock woman and one of the guys said the band he plays with one of the guys came up with this song
I barely found your official profile. There’s older videos with other users. Please add more to this UA-cam. Good singing to my nephews Danathan and Jaycee Morris
Sometimes they're just in English, sometimes they're in the drummers' language that correlates to their tribe (which in this case, would be Cree). Young Spirit have many other songs in Cree. Sadly a lot of people aren't fluent in their Native language because of colonization and forced assimilation. So most Native people in Canada & the US know mostly or only English. Some drummers also write & compose these songs and enter them into singing competitions, so having the lyrics in English would make it easier for the judges to judge & the audience to appreciate the lyrics in case not everybody can speak the language or doesn't know that specific language or dialect

Anyone know those drums are called?
Deer Hide Drum
I believe they may be Cree , but this is a common drum used by all natives
Could be what they call a powwow drum or dance drum
@@night_wolf_6254 no "pow wow" drums are large & are sat around. Alot of tribes use these drums, not just cree.
Native Americans
Why english?
So they can spread it to all of America ?
