Here is my first review of a MB Malik cricket bat. This MB Malik Bubber Sher Laminate was supplied by Vishal who is selling them on his Facebook page for $300 delivered in Australia.

I do this as a hobby and I do not make any money doing this or get paid to create the videos. So owners of the bats cover the return freight costs of bats sent in and I do not always accept a bat for a variety of reasons and do not run a bat knocking service as the time it takes to create content is considerable.
All videos are owned by CricketBatInfo. All views are that of the owner and are based on a one-off experience from an individual bat and not a whole range or brand.

Great review Marc - tempted to buy one to try for myself now.
Just be mindful that its a value bat. If you can find the weight you need you should be fine. Great for a slap and giggle
Your reviews are one of the few decent sources of info on these bats. I couldnt resist temptation and bought a couple for lms. Not from the supplier here, but supposedly a mids reseller. By the handle they're clearly not genuine mids, but the performance of both is laughably over the top in every way. The tap up doesn't do them justice.
Love your vids.
Nice review as always !
Thank you! Cheers!
With kingsgrove chappell etc all going up 20 odd per cent again this season these bats are a great option vishal is a top bloke very genuine nice man. My two laminates out perform my 1200 dollar gray nics legend easily.
Thanks Kamado. What type of cricket do you play? Any issues?
@@CricketBatInfo just a Saturday afternoon hacker I am. Yes have had issues with binding in the past but once they were put on notice never happened again....had handle issues with a lam back in 2013 but not since then and I believe my mate used it on a bowling machine n took the scuff off to remove evidence!
I reckon a laminate could nake a good net bat as long as it was similar to your game bat...that said a butterfly would also do the job as both a net or game bat. With the coming supply issues of Eng willow esp the unblemished multi-grain stuff most people want I think this will have some place in the game down the line...just not in proper comps but mainly social stuff.
Great bat for comps like LMS that have cheaper balls
Hey Marc, Hope everything is going well with you.
Haven't seen your new videos for quite some time.
Can u please review the world class edition from mb Malik mbs
Or the game changer players edition from mb Malik UMZ
I am sure they are both the exact same bats
Lovely review just missing the comparison part with the played in bat nowadays or we just looking for an excuse to see your rob pack in action
Hahahaha. Good memory. I forgot I did that. Maybe I should do a reprisal in future reviews. Good idea
Sir you didn't provide purchase link of this specific bat!!
Description
Indeed the original laminate bat was indeed the SS Turbo 333 and was used by Graham Gooch at lords in 1990 scoring 333 against India and arguably the most iconic bat of all time, I have to say though the SS turbo 333 was a stunning bat unlike that Malik.
Awesome comment Rich. Love looking back at the greats of the game.
Never been a fan of bats from Pakistan. But another great review Mark. Question what's the bat or brand that had impressed you the most with performance and quality?
Thanks and no comment. You’ll have watch the videos and make up your own purchase decisions. Playlists on bats I previously owned and currently own.
@@CricketBatInfo keeping it clean lol, I've watched approximately 90% of your videos but more asking what's the closest your came to a unicorn
Performance wise, you cannot go wrong with laminate, worth every$$$.
Can you sand all the laminate off on any bats and use it for all formats
Why? I guess you’re sanding the back part, because the face side is pressed. This a hypothetical situation? So hypothetically you did that and now Mitchell Stark is bowling to you in all formats.
Can we use it in Grade B cricket tournaments in Australia ?
You would have to check with your individual association, but if they play under the MCC laws. NO
Laminates interest me, but doubt I’ll ever get one made up for myself in a shape I like. As I’ve mentioned before just not into the Asian style bats with whippy handles , thin shoulders and all the wood in the hitting area just feel very unbalanced to me
They will make to your shape. Contact link in description he is a great bloke and will help. For 300aud you just cannot go wrong
I think weight would be a bigger issue. The laminated area would add a few more grams.
@@CricketBatInfo I agree it’s the same with butterfly that’s the reason I haven’t tried one of those as well as they tend to be heavier
How was the handle twist?
Fine, but in all honesty I replaced the binding during the knocking with thicker twine.
@@CricketBatInfo Interesting. saw a Malix recently and the handle was terrible in terms of twist.
Had A CA 15000 PPE like that too. All the inserts were loose. I think its the numerous inserts. Meant to increase the whip in the handle, but after a while results in uncontrollable twist. In the case of the CA I unbinded the handle and reglued the inserts and it was fine. GNs with the tape do a similar thing in terms of splitting.
@@CricketBatInfo this was a new bat. You could twist the handle 90 degrees, which would just result in issues. It was one of two from three factory, the other was fine but had a different handle 🤷♂️
This cricket bat is exactly similar to New balance
Hmmm, not sure exactly
Is it ICC legal?
5:52
I said that in the review Darth. Illegal in all forms of competitive cricket under MCC Laws. Not including park comps or LMS.
Technically only banned in first class cricket ie Sheffield shield and above. Be funny If you used one in Sydney or Melbourne 1st grade.
@@kamadowoah4584 closest I would get to that is watching in my fat arse in a seat.
This is a really bad example of a mb laminate, I have 4 laminates, 2 from Malik and 2 from Mids, really good clean grains on the front, less on the back, absolute monsters and the performance is brilliant £150 - £160 in the UK, I take of stickers immediately because they crap, sand and polish add new stickers, stick on a scuff sheet
How have you gone with the Malik handles? Get any twist?
Grains don't equal performance though it's irrelevant at the end of the day.
Kamado calm down on the plugging. Zach is allowed to have an opinion.
@@CricketBatInfo absolutely. No plugging intended just I own bats that look like Lamborghini's drive like an old vw Beetle.
You are right in saying there are better grained lams without a doubt....my only point was of my current two the uglier one pings harder. Bats are snowflakes no two the same.
