I really liked them. Also listened to 2 more songs from them. Both Tilian, and Jon have amazing voices, and the band is really tight. Glad you enjoyed it.
Love when people check out DGD for the first time, theyre my favorite band and have been so for many years now. Their discography is huge, 9 albums with 3 different clean vocalists. Man of the Year is an epic banger that takes you on quite a journey. Highly recommend it unless that was one of the two other songs you checked out after Inspire the Liars.
This video was lovely! Your reactions, humor, and way of speaking is very cozy, like chilling and showing stuff you like to your cool uncle. DGD is one of my favorite bands and you should totally check out more of their stuff! They have running stories and references, including time travel and dimension hopping, in their music videos so they can be a wild ride. You should also check out Bilmuri (Johnny Franck previously of Attack Attack current project), they/he has collared with DGD and Tillian before and had a very unique style of experimental post hardcore that fills the same niche but with a different sound. In particular ABSOLUTELYCRANKINGMYMFINGHOG is an amazing treat for the ears with a fun music video!

If you liked the animation at the end, it’s kind of a little series spread out across several songs/videos but you should definitely react to their video for “The Death of the Robot with Human Hair” that video is fucking wild lol

The only video from them that i suggest you dont do a reaction to is "Strawberrys Wake" not because its not good but because its the only one I've seen people say theyve gotten their video taken down but other than that all their other videos should be okay. Story behind the song has to do with Tilians dad being a scientologist and growing up in the church of scientology and growing up and realizing it was all BS

They recently did a online concert, Tree City Sessions 2, from the Tower Bridge in Sacramento (thats where the band is from) I highly recommend "Man of the Year"(album version first) and then check out the TCS2 performance of it & "Inspire The Liars"

That does happen a lot that a band with 1 guitarist will get a Touring Guitarist to cover the rhythm parts.
