He was 100% wrong and it was quite amazing to see actually. Though when you think about it I guess, it’s not completely surprising, he’s always just been a genetic freak…he’s never been one to workout or train for arm wrestling outside of just table time. Not someone you’d say was a “student of the game”…he was always just blessed to show up and dominate.
I was so confused when he said "you go through the top" the strap makes a 8 you put the end in the gap between both straps not inside the loop of the buckle. Gotta remember that John was world champ for decades before the fair strap was ever even questioned let alone enforced and now common knowledge.

rn idk, but in his prime shape ohoooo, he would be nmr 1 in 95 , 105, and maybe even 115. Right now at 60 and all kind of problems he still like top 5?? imagine his prime shape

It’s crazy that we’re even still watching him pull at such a high-level at his age. It just tells you he always took care of his body probably never took crazy amount of steroids. Levan will never come close to pulling as much as John has.

I hope John will be ready for Leonidas. After seeing how he handled Schoolboy, he's definitely no joke.
John will have to take him to the pad very fast otherwise he will lose. I think Leónidas is too young and too strong, Leónidas will win. And I love John, just my honest opinion.

It's not like it's cracking because it's tearing at the insertion point lol. It's what they call adhesions built up layers of damage over time and it becomes like would like knots and you're just hearing it rub against those built up adhesions and damage. My shoulder does it every time I do an arm circle.

Always great to see John pulling! Was this recent? And will John be back to pull at the Rainbow Saloon again anytime soon? Met him there 3 years ago at the beginning of his comeback. Would like to come see him again if he has plans to pull at the Rainbow Saloon again. GOAT! 💪

Ask John how it feels seeing Oleg being number 1 in the world at 105? I feel like if John's shoulders same as it was against Oleg then he could beat everyone.
Forget his prime, even John just a couple years ago pre covid and pre Corey west he would be 105 champ still

@@marLamaDeoYea ever since covid he definitely has had some breathing issues and issues recovering between matches. Even going as far as saying he almost passed out when pulling irakli and the room going dark for a bit!
@@yozkopf3000 yeah before he took it he was doing great and as soon as he took it, everything went downhill and he has zero stamina. He be better off doing tournaments at this point because super matches are too taxing on him. But there’s no money in tournaments.
He’d be better off doing best of three instead of best of five or best of six.

I cant believe John beat Oleg. Leonidis will be a big test for him! Most worried for his endurance, but the power and hand is all there and technique. John’s the goat, he’ll find a way.

Yeah John’s cup was so strong against Oleg he shut him down on toproll. Then Oleg was trying to flop wrist press against him and John caught them and held him off. I’d love to see JB be as great as he was in 07-10
One of Johns biggest weapons was the speed he could transition into the press, but in his last few matches he's lost that. He openly says his body is still ok but the reflexes and speed are'nt there to capitalise on openings.
@@Mr_Jingles_147 He can’t use his shoulder anymore so he’s very limited. He can hook because of shoulder, he has a hard time going with side pressure. He’s pretty much not the same. I think it’s after he hooked up jab everything got worse. He seems he has zero cardio since the jab and his stamina is gone.

John is right about the strap, they are using the hustle strap. The person with the buckle always has a slight disadvantage, but doing it the way they do it makes the disadvantage bigger

@@karunak5983Don’t think that was the issue. The issue was he didn’t have time to rest between each injection due to matches every other month.
@@viktore69 he wasn't having matches every other month during the last couple of treatments..stem cells just seem to have diminishing returns beyond a certain age..they have helped Devon but he started long before John and he's also 11 yrs younger

@@karunak5983He took the majority of them when he pulled Irakli, Denis and Hutchings though. Never had like 6-8 months where he could have 3-4 treatments where he didn’t need to focus on peaking.

@@miketurner1908 if you have ever competed internationally and payed attention to how the referee puts the strap on, you know that John is wrong in this vid. They wrap the person who has the buckle first, then the other. After that they go in between to secure the 8 that ties the wrists together. They never pull the strap through the first/upper loop. The hustle strap is going under both of them to secure height and wrist stability for the non-buckle puller. This is basic understanding of arm wrestling.

Sit down armwrestling would give him more problems. You have to come forward to some degree in order to finish somebody, top rolling sitting down is much harder standing up.
