Thanks for the informative video! What future content lies ahead for the channel? I've been following these weekly videos for quite some time now. Hope that one day our 15 year old prostock car will be replaced by one built by you guys. Thing is a pain to work on at the moment. The right rear squats under launch while the left stays almost neutral(maybe we should spend more time dealing with the rollbar). Not only that but the firewall is in terrible condition alongside the door hinges. Can't expect much from a chassis that has been driven hard for the last decade.
The time I got to help a pro stock team this was one of the jobs I was given....helping pack the chutes. Not that much to it really. But a vital thing nevertheless. Our car didn't have the air launchers....we had to use a speed handle stuck in the side of the chute mechanism and crank it in....
How often do you have to replace the chutes Tim?? I imagine you have to yearly because of the amount of wear and tear wind can put on it after a while..
I'll never go fast enough to need a chute, but it's really cool to see how the big boys do it without feeling like I'm in the way. Great video!

Informative as always Thanks !
Excellent program always. No bullshit.
The untangling is the most difficult part. Need more explanation on how to do that.
Great information
Tim you pack a pretty chute.

The wind doesnt really hurt them. Dragging the chutes on asphalt/concrete does
