About a year ago I almost t-boned a bike at night but saw the reflectors and was able to stop in time. So...ya i'm gonna keep mine on. For me it is more important to be seen then to look cool. Great review, I prefer the black myself and wouldn't trade the things they removed for the service you have to pay monthly. Still It is a great looking bike I'm sure your dad will be very happy once he dials it in to his specific preferences.
I'm glad I went with my 19. I got mine the day they released the 20s. 1 key 1 shift peg. Matte inner fairing And the vents did me in. I like the talon wheels more also.
That is a beautiful bike... Congrats! I have 2016 SGS in Cosmic Blue Pearl paint and did some of the same mods as you. Reflector eliminations and I got rid of the antenna completely and the crash bar. Really cleaned the bike up. Don’t think you can get rid of the crash bar on roadglide because of fairing mount.
I thought the same thing about that color scheme, but in person it looks a lot better. I wouldn't buy either one of them myself, but to each is own. And I'm the same way about reflectors. I took my fronts off and smoked the back. 😎🤘
What's happening my roadglide brother, love how u pointed out the differences between the 19 & 20...very detailed and I like that, good to know since I had my 20 delivered Wednesday, but man..I love how u blacked out the reflectors on the saddle bags,do u have a video of how to do that or can you tell me how to,that's a sick look to me🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! I used 3M Gloss Black vinyl, overlayed it on the reflector, then used an exacto knife to cut around the reflector. But be careful you don't hit the paint with the knife. Congrats on the new bike!
I like the new rims and I also like the flat black on the dash. It makes the other black POP. Looks alot better. Definitely makes it pop. That is absolutely a kick ass bike. They got this one right in every way. Love it.
That thing is so badass man, blacked out reflectors look great I totally agree. I wish they had this model in a Road King Special I would be all over it. Best of luck to dad enjoy the rides!
I was also puzzled by the toe shifter removal. If you did not want it, take it out and put a cover over the exposed shifter shaft. And now, they charge $75 for the toe shifter kit.
When I’ll get mine. I will order the new Fangs and the chopped engine guard like the CVO’s have. In my opinion they look way more cool than the classic and bulky Lowers.
I just picked up my 2020 Road Glide Special yesterday, Love to Prodigy wheels.Yeah, might change the shifter to heel/toe. not seeing the heel shifter seems weird but they did some cool stuff for 2020.Now time to start spending more $$$ to make it my own.
NOTE: Starting Mar. 2, your dealership is going to receive one in each color… the brilliant Billiard Red and Stone Washed White or the Billiard Blue and Stone Washed White. These are limited quantities with only approximately 750 units of each color being produced for the U.S. Market. Heel shifter and all the stuff you mention were cost savings.
I was looking at this paint job. Going this weekend to hopefully pick one up if they have it. Second choice is the river rock gray. Shopping around for an exhaust system. Something loud and annoying.. lol
I don't understand the flat black on the fairing and nacelle, the lack of "doors" in the vents, or the unmatched cutouts for the exhaust on the bags/fender fascia.
Amazingly beautiful bike. You forgot to say they now only give one key FOB. The gloss vs. black on the instrument panel area looks like a cost cutting move to me. Horrible on a bike at this price point (glossy inner fairing is part of the Special package as you know). Finally, surprised you did not comment, maybe you are cool with it, but your HUGELY awesome bike with amazing color palette, has an UGLY HORRIBLE chrome kick stand. When is Harley going to get it together on those. It REALLY stands out on specials.
Yes I forgot to mention that in this video, however I mentioned it in my last video.. I agree, wish the flat black pieces came gloss black like on my '19.. And Yes, I don't understand why they haven't put a black kickstand on the bikes from the factory that come with all of the black accents.
I have an 18 Street Glide Special and do like it but I see a trend toward people buying the Road Glides lately and wanted to know what drew you to the Road Glide and do you feel it handles any better than the Street Glide?
Yes, pretty soon everyone will make the switch to the Road Glide. I have ridden both, I feel like the Road Glide handles much better than the street glide. The fixed fairing glides through the wind much smoother than the batwing fairing thats on the street glide. I also think your riding posture on the Road Glide is far better than on a street glide. If you were to ride both bikes in front of a mirror you would understand where I'm coming from on that..
Larry Ford the road glide is just so hideous ugly though. Seeing it in person is even worse. The shark nose fairing just looks like an afterthought and it sticks way out and looks horrible.
@@coop4274 I mean I remember people calling it a "Toad Glide," and always thought the Street Glide was the bike to have as far as baggers go. I don't understand the attraction up tick for the RG now.
With the short windscreen on the red or on yours the black bike, do you get a lot or any wind issues in your face or top of head? I have a 2018 Road Glide Ultra and have wind issues. I even put on a 15" Klocks Werks and still having issues with lots of wind buffeting.
@@DOOWORKPRODUCTIONS Thanks guy. I put the 15" on mine and still have a ton of wind so maybe it's defective. I'll talk to my dealer tomorrow thanks again!
something I never noticed on the Road glide, no crash bars over the bags. Over the years I have dropped my bike a couple of times.. I think I would cry if I scratched that nice custom paint and logo on the bags. Is it me or is that a big deal ?
I like the 2019 rims better. The flat black areas on the fairing look better than the all gloss. The flat black cover behind the rear cylinder should be gloss to match the other engine covers. I like the black color for the bike better, instead of the red and white. Still, a very nice bike.
I bought one and told them to install it at the dealership, I had one on my 13 streetglide and got so used to it..couldn't ride without it..🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️😁
I love the blue at my dealership they head the red and the blue out side it was the same thing here all business was on the side walk complimented by coved 19, oh well, They both sold on Sunday.
They’ll put the heel shifter in if you request it . Probably charge you . I always use both on my Road King . I’d be lost if someone removed my heel shifter . LOL
The previous owner installed d&d 2 into 1 exhaust on my 2014 ultra limited. Whoever is responsible for the r&d in the fitment department needs to be slapped. You shouldn't have to remove the exhaust to remove the transmission side cover so you can change the clutch fluid. I ended up installing a stock decatted header pipe and Vance & Hines tapered mufflers and noticed no difference at all with performance.
The paint scheme is certainly a throw back to the '70s with the white SS stripe and the #1 stars and stripes badge. While I think it looks great, the '70s weren't the proudest years for H-D so why celebrate 12 years of being owned by a bowling equipment manufacturer?
That new bike is dope for sure especially the paint. But to be honest all the stuff they left off the heal shifter, gloss trans cover and most importantly the vents which I run mine closed 90% of the time is total B. S. Only one remote as well like wtf. Definitely white LED’s in the front directionals is a must and absolutely the first necessary upgrade!... These bikes keep increasing in price but there giving you less when it comes to the things that are missing. Harley Corp needs to get there act together and take better care of the core customers wants and needs there sales are already turning to shit.
Nice bike. To bad Harley keeps decontenting items (heel shifter, keyfob, vent control, etc.) from their bikes every year. They charge more and give less. Quality control has also gone in the crapper. Then in a few years they will wonder why they had to be bought out by the Chinese.
Totally better off buying these bikes used. Year to year, there are little differences in the models and there are TONS of Harleys for sale. WAYYYYY too much money for what you get.

Congrats! The dealership I work at sold them real quick , just a couple of days we had them! have fun!
Just bought this version last week. Looks beautiful and I can't wait for the riding season to arrive!
The wheels look good, almost a spoke look to them.
I think Matt Laidlaw did a video about the changes and why for the 2020 models.
When you dad goes for a cam look at the T-Man 216 I could not be happier super ride-able all round, great punch... Beautiful bike.

That color scheme is sick! Like ya said especially in the sun. Should do the black solo seat with red stitching.

If my dealership would of had one that color I might of bought that? But I went with the scortched orange and silver flux!
Never liked red but its a badass bike. I'm buying the blue one tuesday👌
Just bought that same bike today . The red one
Maybe they use matte black on the inner fairing for a color contrast with the shiny black on the fairing. I think it looks good..
The dealership I was at yesterday had this bike. Very cool looking bike

Love the paint skeam
Great video! Can the dealer install RDRS on the 2019 & 2020 if it didn’t come from the factory?
Sweet bike. I'm new to your channel. I just it subscribe you have good content.
Thank you!

I don't like the heal shifter , converted mine to toe only and now I have more room to move my foot around on the floorboard.
The seat looks great, but is it built for a long ride? Nice overview of this great looking bike!
Yeah its pretty comfy actually
Wow thanks for posting they put white stripe up in the middle LOL
My 2020 came with the heel shifter and two key fobes.
Not standard, dealer thru it in
Take a look at the Cero3D Fang turn signals. Really nicer quality.
Your doing something right, what do you do for a living?
Ate you sure it's 1600 and not 1500 units?
I looked it up and they said 750 in each color (I have the red).
Thought I never get used to no heel shifter on my 2020, but I’m totally comfortable without it now and kinda prefer it, less moving my foot around.

What set up are you thinking of for the stage 1 & 2 ie pipe tuner cam etc
Probably D&D and Power Vision Tuner..
Where did you find that fairing GoPro mount that you use on your bike?
I got it in Daytona at the Ciro 3D tent..
just bought the billiard blue one, what size is the klock werks shield ?? looking to get one
6"
I’m also interrested of the size of your windshield. 6 or 9 ? And the color is black or dark smoke ? Thx
Thx for the answer
