What's ironic is that triple 17 is actually a really good 1st dart when trying to get 101.
@@footballnerd277 It's as good as any other big triple considering you won't go for bull when you have 2 darts left. Another is needed to set up a double anyway.
@@ViralVidz21 No it's better. Cos if your 2nd dart is a bounce out, you still get a shot at a finish.

I love this guy, always have. Dont know why some hate him so. He is a really nice man.
It's because early in his career he liked to play the pantomime villain to make a name for himself. It doesn't bother me but for many people it makes them dislike him.
He has to just accept it and get on with things.
Same here he is a really nice guy but all the guys look back to the past and can't forget that it's a shame
Depends on his behaviour, I really liked him when he played against Clayton in World Grand Prix Final. Was cheerful, smiley and gave a lot of positive emotions. I am ok with his expressions, but I hate when he exaggerate it. Like there were moments, when he hit 97 or something like that and he shouted like he would take 170 checkout or this DVB dance imitation during the World Matchplay ... some of his behaviours are just below decent ... and I watch darts not to see this kind of crap, just to see good game and good sportsmenship.
@@smartset2968 tbf MVG do the same things he shout the hell out of it everytime and the "fans" don't blame him for that
He's seems sound as a pound he's just got a short fuse when he's playing. Don't agree with everything he's done on the oche but that doesn't make him a bad bloke in the grander scheme of things.
Having van Gerwen or Ryan Searle on this would be both extremely awkward and entertaining
Not as awkward as Chizzy though, can't understand a word that comes outta that bloke's mouth.

I have to admit I'm a big Gerwyn Price fan. Good to see him chilled and being himself. We only ever see him with his game face on, so yeah nice to see The Real GP. Might be laying off the sweets for a while after this lol

As a Dutch van Gerwen fan , I like gerwin, he’s an honest bloke and plays incredible darts. I don’t like all the booing when he plays. He is legit.
Why I like this guy ?? It's his passion and the way he competed on a high level in two different sports. Should he grow up a bit ? Sure .. but still i like his passion. Coming from a dutch guy

That's awesome! lol! I do think he gets a raw deal by some media. I don't know of one player that DOESN'T like him. I think his confidence and energy is misunderstood or just not appreciated by some pundits. I think he's a terrific personality. Just what darts need, a mix of personalities.
Gary Anderson is the only one I know that dislikes him, but that one was obvious after the Grand Slam Final between them.
