I used to go to Utrecht and always got an “early bird” ticket , either cheap from a dealer or in the later years paid in full to the organisers. The extra expense , which back then was £50 over £5 general admission , was well worth it , you get to see everything first and avoid the horrendous crowd once it was open to the public …….even on the opening day you had about 3 hours before they started letting in the public at 10am. Worth its weight in gold.
@@Konngeman …..back in Utrecht they used to run a general antiques fair right next door to the record fair and I always found the bargains in that section where the antiques dealers often had a few boxes of random records but not necessarily the knowledge of what they had……..at a push I preferred to look in that area over the record fair. Do they still run the antiques fair next to the record fair now it’s switched venues?
@@Konngeman ….on the year when it was cancelled (covid) on the day it was due to open I heard tales of U.K. dealers being charged to “import” their stock into Holland due to Brexit and then charged to take it all back home again , unsold, back into the U.K. Brexit = shit show.
Thats nuts....my uncle gave me some led zeppelin albums some years ago...that turquoise included. I never thought it would be worth that😮. It sounds good but not outstanding.
When i lived in Montreal in 2002 to 2005 i met the biggest Beatles Vinyl collector. At that time he had more than 200000 Vinyls
