Usually older saddles have to be unstitched at the front to have access to the panels and the flocking will be very compact and will need a complete change of wool.
Omfg. This is the number one video in our country how absolutely NOT to fix your saddle. Professional saddle smith's are using this video as a bad example. Hope you don't do this horror anymore. LMAO
Not a wise idea at all, horses suffer so much already with improper saddle fit and now add this.....the world has become a sad place for our wonderful horses
I know many many horse people who has no idea that the saddle needs reflocking and that panels can be too hard or need some awling etc. This video is a good way to educate people. Of course, it's not enough, but I do not see a bad side of it, only good.
Wow! Thank you! That was the most helpful saddle fitting UA-cam I've seen yet!!
Thank you so much!! I’ve been looking for EXACTLY this kind of information for YEARS!!!
Thank you for posting this! It was very helpful!
Nice! Thank you...Very helpful information.
Super video!
Fab video! Thank you!!
Where in the USA would you get wool flocking appropriate for saddles?
What about those older saddles, how would you go about adding flocking to them?

There are no slots in the panels of my old saddle is it possible to put slots in the panel in strategic positions?
Is it possible it’s not wool flocked and has foam panels.
How can I get ahold of the tools 🛠
Have you found the tools Eric?
