I used to shout his name ‘Kazım Kazım’ when I scored in the streets of Istanbul in the summer of 08 🥲 Thank you for the podcast, all the love for Colin Kazım ❤
Am i braindead or something why do i not remember this guy at all and I watched all the games and watched highlighys and documentaries about the tourney.
@@CimbomFanFictionwhaaaat?? maan he was legend. i was 10 back then but i still remember!
@@CimbomFanFictionim dutch and even i remember him from playing for turkey en later on for feyenoord. He was like the only player who doesnt looked turkish because he is half turkish and half english, mother is turkish and father black man from england.
Shout-out to all the Turkish people respecting and embracing Kazim. The love is infectious
what else you expect! he is the legendary KAZIM KAZIM!!
I got teary eyed bro. You referring to "us" is all we need to know who you are!!! Youre a true Turk! Thanks for joining snd making memories with "us".
As a Turk this was a great chat to listen to. Especially because that tournament, I was a kid back then, was just an overwhelming rollercoaster of emotions, where we really ended up believing we could beat anyone, and I am sure the team felt the same way. As Kazım said, we ended up against Germany, with only two eligible outfield players on the bench, and our third goalkeeper, (our first GK Volkan remained suspended) as our third substitution option. And we still believed. Amazing memories, indescribable. Furthermore, it's always good to hear some comments about the leadership from someone who was raised with a different culture, the issue that 'young players can't be leaders in Turkey' is still present, but I feel like we're at least progressing. Big up Kazım, love from a Galatasaray fan.
2002 & 2008 Turkey could batter anyone
In 2008 we had some luck, i dont think winning was the cup was a thing. But World Cup 2002 finals was literally robbed from Turkiye! 22 years later, im still not over what Rivaldo did, how the ref gave a penalty for a foul made 5 meter out of the box. Without exaggerating im still devastated by it.
@@oguzhan9424 well technically we werent robbed that penalty didnt really matter cause it was still the group stages when they got the penalty it was a bullshit call dont get me wrong but still it wasnt the finals that game. in the semi finals we lost to brazil 1-0
@@bsfunkiiii
If that BD penalty wasnt given Turkiye had big chance to be 1st in the group, which had lead to another path…
@@oguzhan9424you was probably not born in 2002 because your saying turkey was robbed that was the group game what happened with rivaldo the semis is where Brazil one 1-0 a toe poke from Ronaldo. Brazil had a deadly golden generation Ronaldo rivaldo Ronaldinho so they fully deserved it you was not even a sperm yet
@@oguzhan9424but turkey would have still face Brazil in the final and same result would have happened you tadpole
Colin Kazım Richards!!!! Özledik be seni.
As a Turk, only 10 yrs old, that 2008 EUROs run sparked my passion for Football.
Watching this Team taught me ONE thing in particular,
TO NEVER EVER GIVE UP UNTIL THE WHISTLE IS BLOWN.
We couldve won against Germany even, but sadly too many injuries and yellow cards gutted our team and even though we fought till the last second our luck ran out.
If you are reading this Kazim abi, ty for everything you have done for TÜRKIYE
@18:30
Damn right! Turk will be always a Turk, does not change when you are called Colin Kazim Richards! Nice proud moment Kazim!
Kazım Kazım

KAZIM KAZIM FENER AND TURKEY LEGEND
Legend
The game against Germany Turkey had no Volkan, Nihat, Arda, Tuncay all players in their peak due to yellow cards. And the reserve squad produced amazing stats against Germany in the first half.
Thanks for this great interview with a great player. A star of Fenerbahçe, my Galatasaray and the national team. Probably his best interview that I’ve ever seen. No cliché questions and answers, just letting him go… 🤙🏻
Colin Kazım Richards has had a crazy career! from coca cola kid to playing all around the world, making the semis etc he should be proud of his career!
Legend! I love him I literally cried when He scored against Chelsea. Unforgattable. Thanks for everything Kazim Kazim ❤
Mad respect for doing this interview many ballers out here that could use a interview that played in Turkey or for Turkey
Kazim is a legend, cool and humble guy
“Win every game” has nothing to do with being arrogant. It is a mentality we had to adopt inthe 80s and 90s when we hit rock bottom in 70s and early 80s. At one point we were barely above the likes of Malta, Luxemburg, etc. We used to defend with 10 guys and we were happy when we lost 1-0 instead of 8-0. Legendary coaches like Mustafa Denizli and Fatih Terim changed that attitude despite harsh criticism from then current media and older authorities. That’s when all the success began.
Great interview. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you
Colin Kazim aka Kazim Kazim ... Thank you so much for these years i mean im a Besiktas fan but still i always liked your style specially in the national team !
Colin Kazim Richards! Damn man time goes fast!
Great interview love and respect to Colin
Out of nowhere, Kazim Kazim ! Loved the takes. We were already down going to the Germany game, Koller did us dirty with that final touch.
Great interview, I'm expecting a part two now 🥲
it was fun to listen him after years has passed. miss you colin!
As a Fener fan, I will never forget Colin Kazim. He was so young when we did so well in CL and also Euro 2008 and he was an integral part of the team. All the love man
Bless up its nice to hear this brother , some clubs done him dirty but he always kept it moving , us fans will never forget his moments
Kazim Kazim 🎉❤

Pleasure listening to this! Turkey will never forget you CKR
KAZIM ASLANIM 🤟
This dude was a beast!!
Kazim!!! Legend! I liked him a lot
Obviously as a turk, Nihat Kahveci goal vs czech to make it 3-2 was our fave.
We love Kazim 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷❤️❤️❤️
Seni unutmadik Colin Kazim Richards ! We ll never forget you! 💛💙❤🩹
What a Baller💪🏼
What a great player he was.
Vay anam Kazım reis severiz. Chelsea'ye güzel atmıştı.
Seviliyorsun Colin.💛💙
Kazim seni seviyoruz. Come back to turkey and do some coaching
kazim kazim
Kazim abiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Yes cuz ❤
Collin kazim is our black ottoman warrior
Trank you guys for the video 😅
🎉🎉🎉 Kazim Kazim 😂
In 2008 turkiye had an equal game to Switzerland, good 15 minutes against Czech, a lucky punch against Croatia. The one match (besides Portugal in group stage) they lost against Germany was the best match they played.
But please don’t tell me that they were close to win the euros. How about Russia? They made it to semi finals, too and they played much better than turkiye..
Colin Kazım 🖤🤍
Great to see Colin Kazım. It’s was a pleasure to hear his insights. Hopefully this years squad can redo their achievements back in 2008❤💛(wish you guys had a Gala shirt too back there 😂)
This guy had potential to be a world class player but his carreer went downhill when he went to rivals gala
That's right, we could have won.. if you hadn't slipped in that position in the semi-final match and let lahm score😔
Kazimierz bey
Only real ones know Mehmet Aurelio from that 2008 Türkiye team. Or Semih Sentürk who spoiled Croats the party with a late equalizer to bring them into penaltied and win it 😂
Kazım x2 , Kazım Kazım
Kazim Kazim RICHARDS
16:35 No wonder he didnt score loads of goals, he was too busy fighting the defenders
I think they have changed the rule to "yellow card bans reset after quarter finals" because of us. we missed almost the entire team that game. Still played brilliantly but that Lahm goal...
did he still play?
Fucking Legend
Kazim aga neden ulkende calismiyorsun? Ulke futboluna guzel hizmet edebilirsin.
Kazım Türkçe bilmiyor
Kazım, come to Fenerbahçe! 😬 Nice Podcast
We were robbed in the brazil game in 2002. Thats all im gonna say.
Bro forgot spain in 2008
Kazım Kazım
Fenerbahçe 💙💛
Türkiye Bro it’s called Türkiye now…
who dont know it her mother cyrus turk.around 1955 lind a england own cyrus yjere for like how indian can migrate backuk at past cyrusians were too.i cant remeber well but i think his dad was crabian .so becouse of his mother turk even he didnt know turkish or never live at turkey he was eleagble for turkish national team
he bnefited lot as wll he wasnt so good player i mean probably never ever gone be english national lvl or star lvl evn for turkey he was winger and fast few year was ok moslty subtitutes or game plan for it.he had few good year not like good carier 10-12 year long very short lived
he get lot chances from turkish team but generaly after half season they wana try sold him or loan
2007-8 was so great at fenerbahce national team etc quarter final way with zico .some player played first team at team some star born few izco player even in that season light so biright u can belive it like ugur boral play at chamions leage match so good u cant belive it
so im nt dissing but
but he was so lucky becouse of his mother turk and forgein rules were strick at that era so if i remeber coreclty can had only forgeiner at squats or in field.so any player had turkish citizenship was valuble .
his ersonality in felid was problem too he get several red card or in action
mustafa izzet which another player from uk played at turkish national as well.similarity as his dad was cyrusian turk but he was nice guy always smile always psoivity we didnt seen anything bad about it.
when turkey world 3. at 2002 he was in squad he play so less
kazim played more yeah but he weas never ever was key player or main part
he was part of squad yes but an example 2008 10000 people will talk about nihat kahveci's some goals or effort or some other player probaly no one gone talk about kazim or wont even rememeber
if he more disline didnt waste his talent can be good player or other then few bright moment barely was averga or bellow player
becouse of missing training seasons lot of yellow cards red cards ifght in and out felid he wasnt able be part anywere long
hort lved carrier sadly.
Almanya macinda yere yatmasaydin kazanabilirdik evet
Why is the audio quality of Colin Kazım absolutely shit? Horrible production quality on your part.
That is hilarious. Turkey would have been nowhere near to winning the Euro. Even if they had made the final, Spain was miles ahead of Turkey in quality. Turkey was easily beaten by Portugal in the group as well.
The awkward dude in white?
OOO aslan golin kazım çavuş nerdesin özledik be kazım çavuş
colin kazım gala legend
we may get beat on the pitch we will never be beaten on the streets!
