- Hello my Friends, I'm trying a bit of a new thing here, while at the same time having a "back to the roots" moment of photography and life. I talk a lot about my life in this video, while taking some photos and showing your the finished edits. Let me know what you think. I plan to do these Videos once in a while and throw in some photo editing or photography meets AI Videos occasionally too :)
My Gear: I use a Sony A7iii and i totally love the Sigma Art Lenses. This one is the 14-24mm 2.8 DG DN - I film with a GoPro 10 and a GoPro Max

This is so true, I enjoy walking a lot, to stay in shape primarily, but also because wherever I go, there always are unexpected things to see and take pictures of, like intriguing brutalist buildings or art nouveau homes in Provence cities, waterfalls in the French Alps that look like they belong in Mexico, etc...
As early as 2004 I was doing all my grocery shopping online. In 2008 I almost never left home. Nowadays I only order the heavy stuff, everything else I go pick up in various stores, some as a
far as 5kms away, only a couple items at a time, so I'm out almost daily and often taking different routes, constantly discovering new curiosities along the way. It's absolutely beneficial, on many levels (stress, health, creativity etc).
Yes, totally. Things like Amazon and Netflix made life way to convenient and easy

I think I've been through some of these moments a decade ago. I was also an amateur photographer for more than 10 years, at some moment all my routine with that hobby got somewhat pointless and I wasn't fulfilled anymore. I started to think to myself "Why am I doing this?", If I were a pro, maybe I wouldn't have to go through these situation but I had a good job at the time so I didn't had a reason to keep going on with photography. I found myself lost for a period but in the end you'll find something.
Another really important point is... Do you have a family to take care? When you live alone is something waaaayyy different when you have a family.
I think this video resonate to me from my "content creator" POV. Because you are light years ahead of where I am. So seeing you bring up your experiences and point of view from fame, money, and value, etc. gives better ideas of what could lay ahead. Also, I do some videos like this one you have but due to the platforms where I'm, I can only share that much. also, being an anonymous account, there are certain things that I cannot do. Life is about trade offs, I guess.

Ich stimme dir komplett zu. Thailand bietet eine ganz andere Lebensqualität. Die Menschen sehr freundlich, das Wetter, die Natur unglaublich schön. Das war defintiv nicht mein letzter Urlaub dort.

Hey, I like direction of your thoughts in the way and such genre of the video. Seems like you are nice guy in you tutorial and overview videos, it's nice too see you doing smth on the street. I.m doing smth like that myself - going for photo trip. I like to do some photoshoots for photogrammetry, even if I just use my smartphone. No reason to sit staring at the screen all you time. Highly appreciate you to explore the world and share your thoughts.

It makes you reflect a little idk why but this kind of video seems way more meaningfull to me than some commercial screaming, video. I totally agree with you. Whatever you said it happened to me so I decided to go back on the street photography instead of spending so many hours in front of the screen creating ai images and animations

@@OlivioSarikas Yes man, I love it when I see UA-cam videos that are very meaningful and to the facts and points of life instead of all the crap like they start their video saying "You need this new whatever it is" When i hear someone try to tell me what I need, I just turn their video off and remember them as fake and pushy! And I have been thinking about the things you said atleast for the last 2 years and trying to tell others. Pay Attention! So yeah, I appreciated hearing it and hope that others that see it understand those things.

Good video Olivio :) I really wish we had more access to good cheap healthy food like they do in some other countries, as you talk about.
I'm not really a people's person though (Not an outrovert) so in that sense the west is kinda nice, since you can both be alone and feel lonely very easily in the west (Which is obviously not fun though) as your video also shows; you walk and walk but never encounter anybody else (It's almost like being alone in the world. Maybe it's just the neighborhood you walked in, but it did seem very lifeless even though there was traffic. But that made for a good video for the subject you talk about; life, so it worked well :) Just missed the good food-vendors like you talk about they have in other countries)

Awesome. Didnt know you also do photography as well. I Mostly do street photography but mix in some other styles and drone stuff from time to time. It is pretty relaxing to walk around and just snap photos of things that look interesting.
I also enjoy mixing that hobby with AI. Using controlnets / inpainting on photos ive taken. Howevet I do also suffer from usually spending waaaay to much time in front of the PC though.

Nice, I am also a Photographer also beside being a designer and doing Ai videos. I try to get at least on the weekend n the nature. I like to take macro photos of bugs and plants, architecture etc. Just like you I am focusing so more on work that I forget about life sometimes. I enjoyed the video :)

I've noticed a possible encouraging trend on UA-cam lately... I've seen a few channels out there that are 100% authentic and not overly polished... very crude setups simply talking to the camera and audiences seem to love it. Has anyone else noticed this?
Slow content is making a comeback. Stuff that is more real and more down to earth 🙂🌻

I don't understand why everything has to be on RAW 😅 ... I get it if you have a very hard light situation or you do shots for a customer, but for fun/experimental pics jpg is fine if you expose well.
It doesn't have to, but when I do a video I want maximal editing ability just to be on the save side

also did you shoot in manual or aperture priority for the focus to be so sharp? is it just by having a more expensive lens also? ^^

Of all your videos, this one is the best. It shows your most human and humane side and your words carry meaning. Why have you stopped doing videos on Affinity Photo? A lot of people don't care a lot about AI.
