I'm an alcoholic, this is my first full day sober in five years.I've been fighting not to drink the pint of vodka today with the dt's. I lost my wife and son five years ago. I came across this song when I was about to open the bottle. I just grabbed her picture and put the bottle down. Im listening to this and I gotta long road ahead to recover. But this song really helped me from fallen back. I need to get back up for my daughter. Thank you Aaron, I've been a fan since Staind.

He actually wrote this whole album with friends. One friend in particular came up with the title of this song on his way to Aaron's house, and the rest is history.
If you've lived it, then you know the pain he's felt. And I am sorry for you going through all that.

I can not listen to this without crying! My soulmate has terminal cancer and his days are few. Been together 22 years and Its not all been a bed of roses but I'll be lost without him! I'm trying to be strong. It's so hard at times.

Beautiful song. Despite having just gone through a divorce where there was no accusation of cheating, I simply can’t bring myself to that place of feeling like this about my X. After literally DECADES of emotional abuse directed at me, I am left only to wonder why I remained Biblical about my Vows and Marriage. I never filed for divorce. I can only pray that God brings a much younger woman to be my wife and lifelong friend; and that I am blessed with the longevity to give her as many happy years as I have had terrible years.

I love everything that comes out of this man's mouth, no matter the genre, it's just pure it's just genuine it's from the heart! Not sure if I have the correct person but if I do I heard you singing at one of your family members wedding (a cousin I believe if it is you I know it's the same name!!!) around 1984 and it was Amazing so I can't even imagine how you would sound in a concert Even More Amazing going by your sounds on here but WAY BETTER!!! I've only ever had the luck to be able to go to one concert in my life so that's not a lot to be able to understand how people sound in...

Man I been a fan of Aaron lewis since the very beginning when Fred durst unbridled him on the family values tour in 1999 and when he transition to country I followed him right on over because I knew he was do great I can relate to so many of his songs and feel as if we've walked that same path in life especially with this song since my wife and I recently separated I don't want to get into details about it but I guess our path in life has ran its course I still love her so very much and it hurts that it's ending this way but I would rather have her happy even if it means us not being together anymore I been listening to this song none stop every day for the last 3 weeks and even though it doesn't help ease the pain believe it or not it helps me get through the day.
