We have had this as our secondary car for about 5 months now. We have a 2 year old and absolutely have no dramas with it. The wife loves driving it around the city. A few people have got it confused with some more luxury named cars too. This review doesn't give it enough credit.
I had test driven this same top spec model here in Melbourne and was immediately impressed with all its features, especially the twin sunroof and high end music brand (10 speakers!) Then i read that Ford OZ will be bringing the more powerful model in months to come. I'll definitely be putting down a deposit soon.
Looked at it here in the UK, had 1 kid at the time, but felt the quality inside wasn't great, the rear passenger room wasn't any to shout home about, the boot, again, it's deceiving isn't for most uses that big, prams etc, so I didn't do it, at the time I went for a Skoda Scala! Now have a Seat Leon ST (think Golf wagon/estate) and 2 kids and the boot swallows everything.
i love my fords but this is dated just like the escape and both overpriced. the interior is the same as the focus/escape too so lots of sharing of parts and nothing to differentiate between them for your money.
$44000 for a 1 LITRE car! $44 per cc.
My car costs only $3 per CC. In a far away galaxy cars were cheaper, engines larger.

I have the Ford Puma ST Line X - it makes perfect sense in the UK with our tiny roads, and cramped city's and limited parking.
