For anyone who doesn't know much of game development: I took a 6 month 1 hour a day course on Blender 14 years ago and haven't touched it since, and I'm almost certain I could make a game that looks and plays better than this in about a month. The level of shitpost here is either "literal first game project" or "professional game developer". I'm leaning towards the latter, because it takes some level of understanding game design to unlearn it this effectively.
I can almost guarantee that if you tried to make a 3d model of mario, it would take you 5 times as long to make and would look 1/5th as good as you expected it to.

Bit weird how people who try emulating “stylistic suck” media always add in some spooky, “uncanny” or otherwise meme-y aspect to it. A lot of PilotRedSun-inspired animations do the same thing, and to me it kind of misses the mark of what gives the originals their charm. Honestly though, I can’t complain here, because this brings its own brand of charm: The continuation of the Mario Dreams Collection Binyot Arc :P
