Hope in this series Dumbledore asks calmly
And I hope Ron gets his cool moments back.
Lol😂
I hope he didn't, I hope he screams as in the movie😂
😂
Fingers crossed
Whatever happens I am BEGGING on my hands and knees for Ron to be the well-written loyal lovable HERO we all know him to be 🥺
I agree. He's my favorite character 😌
In this third wave woke feminism society I don’t think that’s going to happen it’s like they can’t make a female lead likeable without them degrading a male actor 😑
I came down here to comment exactly this!
Also for Ginny
I’m just happy
Things I hope they include in the reboot: An accurate portrayal of Ron and Ginny, the Maurader's backstory, more quidditch, backstory of the Founders of Hogwarts and Neville's backstory including how his parents were driven mad by prolonged exposure to the Cruciatus curse.
YES THIS
We’d probably get 1 or 2 episodes about the mauraders over later season which would be cool
YES, JUST YES
I want to see Harry and Ginny's relationship expanded beyond what we got in the books
right like i feel like we didn't get enough so i was barely able to love them as much as i wanted to
Do you mean the movies? The movies are just like sHoElAcE. And THAT is how their relationship started
Main things I'd like to see:
-Ginny's character done right
-The maze with the obstacles
-The Quidditch World Cup
-Kreacher's character and him befriending Harry
-Missed Goblet of Fire subplots like the kitchens and Rita Skeeter's secret
-Dobby plays more of a role
-More Voldemort memories like the Gaunts
-Explaining things like the Marauders and the Prophecy
Edit:
-Harry and Voldemort's duel in front of everyone
-The house elves fighting in the Hogwarts battle
-Peeves tormenting Umbridge and throwing sticky bombs at death eaters
-Lee Jordan cracking jokes during Quidditch matches and McGonagall scolding him
-Fred and George picking on Percy like stealing his Prefects badge or making his badge say Pinhead
Also add in more Sirius Black in Goblet of Fire
Agree with all of these, but also want to see more of the Weasley Family, whether it's more of Bill, finally seeing Charlie, showing us more of Percy's split from the family in the later stories, or truer adaptations of Ginny and Ron.
After reading the books, I loved the dynamic of the Weasley's and how despite being part of the Sacred 28, they aren't pre blood maniacs and have some respect for the Muggle World.
And of course Dumbledore's character done right. He wasn't exactly portrayed as the wise, but fun and appearingly batty wizard he was in the books (mostly anyway, until he gets serious). Like the "Dumbledore asked calmly" scene, him shouting his full name in Harry's trial and still shouting afterward, hating his Hogwarts curtains and setting fire to them, shouting Harry's name when it came out of the goblet, speaking way too dark and eerily about the Dementors in 3rd year and etc. They are sometimes small moments, but moments of out-of-character for Dumbles nonetheless. Though I will praise both actors for having many other moments of in-character scenes 😊
I want all that... Dumbledore picking up Harry at the at Dursleys . The Weasley's blowing up there living room. And of course the finally duel between Harry and Voldemort in the great Hall
Better wormtail sendoff
The only biggest pieces I’m looking for in the show are the biggest disappointments that the films cut out: Voldemort’s origins and the relationship between Dumbledore and Grindlewald.
The final battle was horrible in the movies too.
@@ArnoSchmidt22 are you serious final battle was among the things movies did better from start of the battle till harry snapping the elder wand was pure perfection
@@zeeshanismail7768 Nah, it was cheesy and horrible. In the books they circle each other speaking until the final spell, with everybody watching in the great hall while the house elves stab the Death Eaters' legs. I was wholly disappointed by the movie.
@@ArnoSchmidt22 well couldn't do the houselves thing as they weren't set-up in the movies, exposition rarely work in the movies only thing they messed up is Voldemort dying like a ghost instead of a regular guya
who cares about the relationship between Dumbledore and grindlewald? thats been established enough. It'll just come off as woke tbh.
As long as we get more Remus and Tonks than we did in the movies I’m happy! 💖
Yes
Who is barely even mentioned the Teddy existed Teddy was barely been mentioned. Hopefully he actually kind of exists in this new reboot.
and sirius ofcourse
I'll admit, I felt that Tonks was given very few pages in the book proper. I wanted the movies to expand on her and Lupin in some way, but neither really does so. Her and Kingsley were two highly important characters that don't really get to shine.
As long as we actually get Bill in Goblet Phoenix and Prince 😭😭😭
I honestly think that a reboot was necessary. People think that it should've been a spin-off instead of a reboot, but think about all of the book scenes that we didn't see in the movies. The Quidditch World Cup, the madness of Mr Crouch, Dumbledore confronting the Dursleys, "There's no need to call me "sir", Professor" and Ginny's sassiness are just a few examples. I think we need to see scenes from the original 7 books adapted on screen before getting to potential spin-offs.
Yes, totally agree. They need to make a good adaptation of all the books with all the details, then they can move on to sequels or prequels (marauders, founders, voldemort's origins) 🙌
“There’s no need to call me ‘sir,’ Professor” was Harry’s most savage line ever and it is criminal it was excluded from the movies.
I’m excited to [hopefully] see everything they missed in the movies, like Peeves & Winky, for example. And I hope they do the story justice!
There will be still some differences.
And Ludo Bagman
@@jai-lnstafford524 yes! I really hope he’ll be in the tv series
@@klaudiagrob of course. Nothing can be 100% like the source material. But the tv series has the potential to bring a lot more than the movies did.
Some actors are dead tho
I think it has potential. Of course many of the actors like Daniel, Emma and even Tom Felton are irreplaceable. The new actors and actresses are going to have very _big_ shoes to fill in
Ikr Emma will always be Hermione,Daniel will always be Harry, and Rupert will always be Ron 🧡🖤❤️
Irreplacable? I beg to differ frankly…
@@AnInkStick why
Daniel had quite poor performances until the 4th movie. I don't know why he's irreplaceable.
That is true
It's also a great opportunity to see a good Dumbledore throughout the series. I hope they find someone like Richard Harris, who is genuinely kind and sweet and gentle, who we would genuinely be uncomfortable to find out to be manipulative in the later installments.
They had better include Harry seeing Neville at St. Mungo’s and what Neville does with the candy wrapper☹️😢😭
Also the scene where Harry finally hears the prophesy and sits alone by the lake. Both those scenes in the books ALWAYS cause me to cry. Beautiful writing by J.K Rowling.
Please give us the Ginny we lost, the Dobby we were starved of, and please please pleaseee..... Some more Lilly Petunia, Snape backstory.. Give us the Blast-Ended Skrewts already!👏🏾
I’d bet my college education that the shipping will be Harry x Hermione. That’s where J.K. Rowling and most of the fandom have been for a while.
@@theopportuneson699 oh no
Pls pls no I really hope not
Uggh this is gonna be quite the bumpy ride 😑
@@jessicabarrett3631 if that happens I'll drop it
I NEED the real Ginny!! And Dobby, and Winky, and Peeves, and way more of the backstory about Marauders, Snape, Lily, etc as well. And Hermione's Yule Ball glow up... PLEASE
@@helloitsmadie6767 Yes the real Hermione in the Yule ball blue robes not pink!
I hope they have Charlie in season four for The Goblet of Fire and season seven for the Deathly Hallows.
The thing i am expecting from this new reboot is that people start loving Ron more and actually see Draco how he really is.
I watched the movies first and liked Ron from the movies alone and after reading the books i love him more so I can't wait for the reboot to repair his character and make fans love him more
I need them to do Harry and Ginny relationship justice in this series. Now that they have more time to really portray the book version of it
It'll probably be a while before the show is actually released, but I'm excited. It'll follow the books and show us stuff that the movies left out, which when I was younger and I watched the movies first, I was so confused about some things. And It'll develop the characters and their relationships more.
Oh yeah I'll give it 2025 or 2026 for it to release, but I prey for the love of God they make Ginny and Ron accurate to how they was in the books
Please be 2025.
I also like the idea of animation because then it still leaves room for the orginal movies to have their place. I've grown so attached to those movies, that I'd be kind of sad to see them be replaced.
Animation is a terrible idea and it sucks
Ikr
If they do animation, they should do 2D instead of 3D.
2D animation just looks better and has more of a charm to it. Also 3D animation is way overused and all looks the same now.
Nope animation not a chance. They have to be replaced but don't worry, those films will still have another audiences to pull in.
A cartoon would be a good option, but what I really want is the marauders backstory from first time arrival to hogwarts till graduation
If the series is good hopefully they will do a Marauders spin off after the seasons for 3rd or 5th books. The perfect in is Snape's memory, they could use it to make a pilot.
The Marauders story would also have the first Wizarding war as a background to their school days
Same
I'm cautiously optimistic for this new series, mostly because HBO seems determined to fix the mistakes caused by D&D during that final Game of Thrones season. House of the Dragon was a big improvement, and The Last of Us was a phenomenal adaptation. If any studio can pull off a Harry Potter show, it's HBO.
I like the idea of spin offs that doesn't have to do with the Golden Trio... Or possibly going more in depth with the characters of Harry Potter like Hagrid and later on Snape and Voldemort. I honestly really want this reboot to be animated instead of live action because then the directors wouldn't have to worry about Harry Potter fans compare the new kid actors to Daniel, Emma and Rupert.
I have mixed feelings about a Harry Potter TV series. While I adore the franchise, I hope that it won't taint the memory of the original films and books, and like Fantastic Beasts before it, could start out strong, before fizzling out.
you speak to my soul 🙏
The Moves is its own. And the books will probably get more of the details the movies missed in this tv series.
I still hope Rowling decides to wirte the fantastiv beasts story as a book (or 4) so they could then do an adaptation.
I am a bit worried they will try to copy and this will not go down, well.
IF they want to replace Alan, Robbie and whoever else this need to be so different.
Yes I do hope however it will for me Movies and novels stand on their own❤
@@erikalulea3608 If you've seen any reboot, sequel, or prequel in the past decade, you would know this has a 99% chance of being awful. It's almost impossible to recapture the magic of the original director and original cast. Hollywood has ruined so many 80s and 90s properties. Also bad reboots, sequels, and prequels do ruin the soul of the franchise despite what everyone says.
I’m a little conflicted. I don’t want them to ruin anything. But on the other hand,,,,,, I’d be really excited for a TV show, IF ITS DONE RIGHT!!! I would love love love a series on the founders of Hogwarts!!! I’d love to meet the four founders! If they go with the books, I hope they get it right! And include the characters and plots that the films left out. But I feel the last four books 📖 are much too long to include in just one season, so I think the seasons would have to be split in half, like TDH did in the films.especially since TV seasons tend to only be around 6-10 episodes long these days............
hbo said it will be 15 episode seasons
You’re over estimating how long the books are… some of them are LONG. But the movies were able to do a pretty decent job in 2.5 hours. You really don’t think eight or ten 40-60 minute episodes wouldn’t be able to get everything in?
Recasting is a doom
What’s TDH?
@@andreasmeelie1889
The Deathly Hollows 🙂
I think I would absolutely prefer it being animated. I never thought about it potentially being a animated series before you brought it up but I think that would definitely be the best option. And the Hogwarts Legacy team should definitely be allowed to work on it and honestly they should be sought out to work on it
I agree with you and Morgan on this
I also didn't think of animation until he mentioned it. I think quality animation (like arcane level maybe?) would be a really good way to go
Hard agree! Yes yes yes
Exactly ! We don't need another live adaptation, we already have one! An animated adaptation would be perfect in many ways (not changing the actors we know and instead just finding a voice), but they're probably still doing it live unfortunately.
Tons of people don't watch cartoons. That would be a disastrous business decision.
I think the set design and the world building will be incredible. HBO has proven to be the best in the business at this, and I don’t think they will fail this time around.
This really feels like best case scenario for the series to me, I’m incredibly optimistic. So glad this came instead of the cursed child movie 🤮 We get to pretend for a bit longer that it isn’t real
I'm with u!!! Im so optimistic about it too!! So many people are so upset about it but im thrilled and i feel like im wrong for it lol!
hbo has proven multiple times over that they are the best at making shows lol
I just hope they don't cancel it like their other shows
@@dylanlawson9097except for one but yea I agree
I am very excited to see how they’re gonna adopt The Goblet of fire because that’s my favorite book in the entire Harry Potter series. Of course I was really disappointed on how the movie handle all the mystery and secrecy within the plot but I have really good High Hopes now!!!!
Prisoner of Azkaban is the best one book and movie😊
@@emilycalkin1408 I think prisoner of Azkaban is definitely in my top three books no question about it. I love that the goblet of fire has the Triwizard tournament, it’s a nice change up to the format. I love that we were introduced with 2 brand new wizarding schools. It felt like a crime novel and I’m a huge fan of crime shows & books.
I am quite excited! I feel like I am one of the few people that aren´t attached to the original golden trio...I hope characters like Ron and Ginny are portrayed way more accurately. Another thing I would like to see is the whole thing feeling more magical. By the end of the movie series I felt they did not want to show stuff like wizards and witches wearing robes and pointed hats. I understood the darker lighting ect. to make it feel more mature, but overall the vibe felt very muggle.
I really hope they can add those amazing cutscenes in their which they left out from the movies- like where Dudley told Harry that he doesn’t think he’s a waste of space 🥲
I want the castle to remain. It is iconic, plus the entire Universal World of HP is already based on the real Hogwarts
I want me a 5 hour long documentary on trevor the toad
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@anonymousguy7005 mission accomplished
As long as it's faithful to the books I think the tv show can only be compared favorably to the movies. This is Max we're talking about, they know how to cast good actors and make effects look good. I think the music has to absolutely stay. There is no question in my mind that the music is 100% irreplaceable.
i agree with wishing they had done this another 10 years down the line...but honestly think a 1:1 adaptation of the books fits much better as a tv series.
cant imagine how amazing the 4th, 6th and 7th seasons would be with faithful retellings and improved CGI!!!
In an upcoming video you should breakdown your fan casting of the show! We would love to see what your thoughts are on who would be a good fit for the new show!
Go check out videos of Bryan Seeker he did for the casting. Most of the casting choices are incredible
I want a full cast of unknowns.
I really hope the actors who end up portraying the characters in the show don’t get hate for being in the show
The hate comes from the crazy part of the fandom. So if people can just relax and leave their American political agendas at home, everyone will be fine.
Oh,they will be harrased by demented fans who can't tell what reality is.
@@kaiw522 "American political agendas" would/do result in Rowling getting hate. Most of the hate towards new child actors wouldn't come from those people but rather from die hard Harry Potter fans.
Also have you considered that some things have justification? Im assuming that you are talking about the hate Rowling got for her statements on the trans gender topic. Now hate is never justified but there very many good and reasonable critiques of her. She clearly doesn't understand the topic and didn't research it enough. Now her words were affirmation for those that already reject trans gender people which is just dangerous.
@@lexxihd5843
What has she said?
@@TrueMohax She said men can't be women and that women should have their own private spaces - like bathrooms and changing rooms.
Anyone who isn't an agenda driven moron agrees with this.
I really hope they take their time with this TV series as they have so much things to explore from the books that we never seen from the movies.
An animation would be great, since no actors can replace the actors in the previous movies. They can change so many stuff and make it better with animation.
I'm all for seeing the books adapted in more fleshed out and long-form story telling. However, I'm curious if this gonna muddy the brand. Like is Hogwarts going to have the same look and aesthetic as the movies? Is the music going to be the same? What about all the iconic sets and locations? How is this going to affect the theme park, and the rides that feature clips of the film actors? And does this decrease the chances of ever seeing a movie sequel with the original trio again in the future? Lots of questions.
I second these concerns
WB likely wants to keep pumping out Harry Potter content to keep the Wizarding World theme park relevant for years to come, so it's likely that the look of a lot of things will remain somewhat similar (or similar enough for the theme park to be updated without major re-design). I don't mind a different look, but it'll be weird having Harry Potter without Hedwig's Theme in it.... but since they're already using it in the promo, maybe they'll use it the same way the Bond theme is used in all the Bond reboots.
I don't think we will ever get a sequel with the original trio, solely because I don't think they want to come back. If there is a sequel they will probably recast the trio.
Considering the main trio has spoken out against Rowling, I don’t think there are any chances of a sequel with them in the first place.
Petition for Morgan to be a writer on the show. He would do such a good job especially with his passion for the wizarding world which I’m afraid the writers on the show may not have.
I wish they at least hired him for some sort of advisory role, his content speaks for itself and I'm sure he would be able to provide valuable insights they wouldn't probably get from anybody else on this planet.
Petition to start this!!!
He should apply it himself
I'll join that petition
I agree to the Animation approach soo dang much coz not only that'll make the details of the characters and all the different places more stand out. They can't achieve the same thing with a complete new cast and they pretty much have to create their own versions of Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, Ministry of magic and so on coz if not that all the magical places being the same as the original movies will definitely make things a bit too repetitive coz there wouldn't be anything new to explore.
The Movie Cast is so iconic even before I had ever seen the movies, I always associated them with the characters while reading the book for the first time just due to any photo I may have seen through memes or YT thumbnails.
I would love to see a series on the founders, that is the best idea I have heard this entire time around this debacle.
Ron deserves justice in this one
I'd like to see Grindelwald to defend the elder wand from Voldemort like he did in the novels.
I also feel really excited but also a bit nervous. I'm excited about seeing all of the details the movies cut out and seeing the characters be more accurate to the books- Ron, Hermione and Ginny especially. However, I am nervous about the casting and also I just hope that they will do a good job at it.
One thing i want is reenectment of original final battle of harry and voldemort, including harry calling him riddle.
Love all the good points you made! I would be ecstatic if they made an animated version and depict a story closer to the books!! Thanks for sharing and making awesome videos!! ❤❤
I definitely agree that making it animated would be great! But sadly so many people view animation as a children’s genre (even though it’s a medium, not a genre) and would immediately disregard the series.
Main things I want to see
-bushy hair herminone
-freckled weaslys
-Ginny normally
-calmer dumbledore
-Astronomy and history of magic along with their OWL exams
-peeves
I've said for years they should make an animated Harry Potter series. Exactly like you said, logistically it could be the easier option. No chasing time with quickly aging young actors or having to build enormous and expensive sets. I know animation isn't "easy" but it would make for an incredible new take on the Wizarding world we already know, and could stand a better chance than something more familiar - live action.
The key is that on the one hand they don't change so much that they mess up the underlying story and on the other hand they don't change so little that it doesn't add value compared to the existing films.
They could add so much by simply showing more different perspectives instead of always seeing everything from the trio's point of view. Then of course they need to add all the parts of the books they let out in the movies and maybe fix some of the major plotholes.
I too am not averse to an animated series if it is well made. This could also be a very good way to show all the magic and the magical places.
I really hope they show us more of the magic being performed. We rarely get to see how the most powerful wizards actually do magic. There is still so much potential there.
Overall, the most important thing is that whoever is writing the show really knows what they're doing, is invested in the HP franchise and understands the story and all the characters. It's always great when the people behind a product are really enthusiastic about it, it just shows in the result.
I love your voice! Really soothing listening about my comfort series in a comforting voice and tone! Love your videos keep up the great work:)
Animation would be absolutely amazing, it’s all I’ve ever wanted. All of the magical creatures and spells would flow so much smoother.
MY DREAMS HAVE BEEN REALISED! Also, I love your videos. They are amazing!
I’m hoping the new Harry Potter TV show does my boy Ron justice. All his best moments from the book were given to Hermoine or other characters and they made him a lazy idiot when he’s literally the most loyal and trustworthy friend Harry could ever have. I also want justice for Ginny, Charlie and Bill. All my Weasley’s deserve the best. They’re all literally icons.
Also make Hermoine imperfect like she was in the books instead of making her beautiful and flawless. Her flaws are why I liked her so much. The movie version of her being the epitome of perfection actually made me dislike her more tbh.
Also give us the Tom Riddle backstory like we deserve. It’s would be so cool to see his backstory visualised and reimagined. When he killed the Riddle Family, his time at the orphanage, his interview with Dumbledore applying for the DADA position, his interaction with Helena. His lore is so fascinating…
For kids to look appropriate is rather hard, as we dont know how they grow up. Other than that, I agree, justice for Weaslies.
@@joonaslaitinen9520 that’s true they don’t have to look like their book counterparts as that can be difficult to do but I hope the characterisation is good. Having Hermoine be this untouchable amazing person who could do no wrong whilst Ron is depicted as a lazy idiot was really annoying in the films tbh.
Both the characters have flaws and gifts which is why I loved their stories so much 💗
I was looking forward to this video! Love the channel. I'm super optimistic about the TV series as well!
A huge pro of animation is you don't run into budget limitations, construction limitations, time limitations to do the physical world justice. An animated series is how I've always imagined it to happen someday. Let's hope JKR doesn't influence too much because she has really exchanged loyalty to the books for cash grabs and controversy in the last decade.
The original idea for the film adaptations was to have them be animated.
If they go that route, I'd want to see it in 2D instead of 3D.
2D animation would give it more of a magical, mysterious, and old-timey feel, which is what the books kinda went for.
I very strongly agree!! The reason I started to watch your videos was because of how you use information from the books. I would also love to see the series be animated and close to the books as possible. I also love the idea of using the Hogwarts Legacy castle. These are such great ideas for the series that I really love but never though of before. Thanks for the great content!
I know how hard itll be for the producers, many actors have outgrown or passed away and there will be HUGE shoes to fill, but I do believe they can create something truly amazing! Now, I will always love the movies, and even if this series is more accurate to the books I will not disrespect the original movies, but if they are able to put every detail possible, then Ill fall in LOVE with it! I love how your a Harry Potter Encyclopedia, and wish I had the memory you have! Your ideas are amazing and though I dont think they will, I would love to see an animated cast because lets face it, there isnt anyone in the world with the EXACT descriptions as the trio and everyone else throughout the series (not to mention people with enough talent to fill the shoes mentioned) Im exited for the series, and cant wait to watch all your videos and nerd out with ya!
finally...DOES ANYONE KNOW A HIGHER UP? IF SO, MENTION MOVIE FLAME TO THEM SO THEY CAN AT LEAST THINK ON HIS IDEAS!!!!!!
Bro I watched you during Covid and i forgot your channel name so glad I found you your channel makes me so hoppy
I would love to see spinoff TV shows like, showing life before the harry potter series takes place. Such as: Marauders, maybe a sequel including harry’s children… etc.
Great video as always👍
Personally I would LOVE to see Luna and Neville, as he holds a big story but not been shown as the same as Luna and her mothers death !!!!
I LOVE your ideas Morgan!!!!
your spin off ideas are so good especially the marauders one!!!!
I think a reboot would be okay if they really cover up all details in the novels. I think perhaps a very good MovieFlame video could be guessing or mentioning which actors can suit for the different roles in the series. I personally propose Ed Westwick as Sirius Black, Alex Pettyfer as James Potter, Kaya Scodelario as Lily Evans/Potter just to mention some
I would absolutely _love_ an animated HP series, for much the reasons you give
Imagine a japanese animation style for Harry Potter. Mob Psycho 100 comes to mind. It would be awesome.
@@ArnoSchmidt22 imagine something like demon slayer or chainsawman animation
I am just as excited about your content on the upcoming HP series as I am about the series 🤸♀🤸♀🤸♀
*Thank you for sharing this! Let’s see how it goes!* 😊
No one could ever repeat Alan Rickman's performance as Snape
But do you have to? With better character writing and a very good actor it could still work imo
I want to see Harry and Cho's date, Ron and Ginny's true characters, Hermione being a human with flaws and not a superhero, Ginny and Harry's relationship and their breakup, Harry smashing objects in Dumbledore's office after Sirius died, Harry and Dumbledore's relationship, the feelings Harry had for him in the 7th book and Dumbledore's full story explained to Harry, Mauraders' story, more Dobby, Quiddich's trainings with Harry being the captain of the team!, Dumbledore askind calmly and of course the duel between Voldy and Harry done properly, BUT with a cast looking exactly as the characters in the books.
As an American it would be cool to see an Ilvermorny movie. Either a origin movie or something a little more modern so we can see what it would be like around the same time when Harry was going to school in the 90's.
I really really really hope it's an animated project, I've been talking about a book accurate animated series with my other Potterhead friends for years
I love this because since i read the books i've wanted to see something specific, quidditch, i loved the cups in pretty much all of the books that it happened, i fell like they didn't give the sport the same importance in the movies, also things like ginny's character, dobby's importance and other things, i think it has a lot of potential and i'm really excited for it
I really hope that the show producers see this video. And the supercarlinbrothers video on it as well. I know that they probably won’t but if they listened to the fans and other fantastic takes and ideas that people are thinking of, then the show will be phenomenal.
I haven’t read all the books yet but watched the films countless times. Your encyclopaedia worth of knowledge is what makes your videos enjoyable for me 😊
Someone needs to share this video and channel with the producers and bring this man onto the damn production team!!!
If this ain't animated, it's already a mistake. By doing an animated show of the books, the kids won't age out, the adults can be the right age, no huge budget constraints. Animation is the way to win fans back.
Didn’t even think of it being animated till you mentioned. Absolutely brilliant, would actually love to watch
I want to see more of Kreacher! I just loved the part in the book where he was completely changed to a caring house elf by given the locket❤
I'm pretty excited one thing I like that he points out is they should add things that weren't in the movies but in the books like for example character from the books that were not in the movies missing detail's there's so much things that can be added that were not in the movies anyways thanks for the update Morgan keep it up!
I actually wouldn't mind the same theme song as it's just so iconic however that's the only thing I'm ok with keeping
I totally agree with you. The show needs to be as close to the books as possible for it to work. I would also love to see it animated to keep it different then the movies
I'm glad they are doing a series. There's definetly a new wave of fans as the teenagers these days were most likely not born when the first few movies came out. I myself at the age of 27 didn't get that deeply into HP until I was 24/25 maybe? I watched the movies but didn't dive deep into the Wizarding world. Only this January I got my hands on the books and I'm challenging myself to read one book each month. On Goblet of Fire right now 😊 I'm learning so much new stuff that's been kept out the movies. Also it's going to be so much more exciting seeing all fans and yourself making review videos and talking about each episode perhaps and create this close nit community as the people around me in my life aren't fans of HP like I am. Back when the movies came out social media wasn't as it is now.
I'd love to see a Mauraders spin-off. More of Sirius and Lupin, my favourite characters.
There was once was a boy named Harry destined to be a Star.....
His parents were killed by Voldemort who gave him a lightning scar
yo harry! you’re a wizard!
I'm super excited! The fact that it's 7 seasons, one for each book, makes me feel like they've read/heard the idea from the community and have seen that there's a general wish to see a more book-accurate version on screen! Also, the whole name and design change from HBO MAX to MAX in connection to the news of this series makes me feel like they're confident in this project, despite it being so close after the movies. So maybe they know they have something to offer that has been missing from the movies. So I'm hopeful that they're aiming for a more book-accurate version! And after the cursed child and the fantastic beasts movies, I'm used to and mentally prepared for another let down of expectations, so I'll be fine in that case too lol.
3:00 I 100% agree with the animation idea, that will definitely make it unique. art for books is never in live action style, most of the time it looks like something that would be animated. so if they're going for book accuracy, animation would be a great idea.
I’m excited but I would be exstatic if they have a Marauders series.
i would like a harry potter version based on the artworks of jim kay. he is my favorite artist and it would be dope if they made an animation based souly on his artwork.
Really wanted a series focusing on a different Magical school or a different time period
I’m gonna say, I love ur idea about making this an animated show instead! In my opinion, I think it would be a good middle ground to make it more different from the films!
Agree! Exactly how I feel! I couldn't find the words when I found out that they were actually going to do a reboot... I was in shock... Not in a bad or good way lol but... Surprised! Thanks for putting it into words! It's exactly what I've been trying to explain to everybody who has asked for my opinion because I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I am sharing your video to explain how I feel about it 🙃😅
I am actually curious but nervous about 2 amazing characters: Severus Snape and Rubeus Hagrid. I loved Snape and Hagrid everytime I saw them on screen and that will probably be very hard but I have hope😇
McGonagall is, to me, the most irreplaceable actor in the movies. She was the perfect cast.
@@ArnoSchmidt22yea but she isn’t dead
@@joshuamunn2410 yea but were talking about snape and hagrid xx
Now Dumbledore is dead too. Sad@@joshuamunn2410
The movies had to cut so much out that I think a longer format like a show was needed all along to really do justice to the books, but I also really appreciate the movies for being a concise jumping off point for people getting into Harry Potter and just being such a huge part of my childhood as I was lucky enough to be born at a time were I felt like I was growing up alongside the trio. Im normally skeptical of reboots because so many have been soulless cash grabs and I have so much nostalgia for HP but I am cautiously optimistic for now. Casting will make a big difference for me, the movies had such perfect casting it will be very hard to come close let alone surpass.
To me nothing can replace the movies. I just hope they do Ron's character justice in the upcoming series. In the films Ron was depowered a lot and many of his lines/acts were handed over to Hermoine.
I’m actually excited, hoping they give every character justice. I am a little sceptical as well but I guess we’ll see. I am gonna watch it and I hope the ones behind the shows watch your videos and take your advice. That would fix a lot of things that the original messed up😊
I always rooted for a prequel saga exploring ( the original order of the Phoenix, the marauders and Voldemort origin )
Obviously adding the characters and events missing from the novels is the prime reason to do the TV reboot. I can hear Pete the Poltergeist cheering already, as well as Hermione and Ron saying, "See, we WERE supposed to be together" which was obvious from when they first met. Keep the musical score.
Morgan can u plllllls make a video on which actors come to mind for each role in the new tv show?
I would love it so much 🥺
Great video. Hope the new series is good. Either way, we'll get some content of it being highlighted or burned alive.
