There’s something so wonderful about recognising the songs you can sing with all your heart in your native language in a different language, and seeing others singing them with so much passion in their language. If there’s one thing that can really bring the nations together, it’s Jesus Christ. Even when we don’t speak the same language, God’s word connects us. And no matter where, we can praise him as one. Because He is the same, everywhere.
Glory to the one who was and is and is to come.
Amen? I can certainly say amen to that. But we should always remember that saying something is one thing and doing it will always be the harder part. Still, it cannot be left out. Because words without actions are just empty promises - and who needs that?
That sounds wise, doesn’t it? I can assure you, it’s not my own wisdom. Whenever I have something deep to say just to realise that I’m not even following my own advice while everyone tells me how wise it is, I know it’s the Lord speaking. Funny how he speaks to me in form of giving advice to others at the time, I hadn’t fully realised that. I wonder where I’ll be in the future. I’m still pretty young and have no plans whatsoever. And sometimes it stresses me out because everyone around me is starting to decide on careers. But I am so glad that no matter how messed up things get, Jesus is my certainty. He’s my fortress, and better than anything else one could hope for - he is my living hope. I have so much trouble with decisions. But you know one thing I can say for sure? Whatever I end up doing, I wanna work for Him. And wherever I will be, I will be with Him. He will be with me. Because no matter how far we run, He will never abandon us. And honestly, I don’t plan to run from Jesus but you never know. No matter what the future holds, my God holds the future :).

I should have gone to sleep over an hour ago now… Again, wherever you are, be blessed! Remember Gen 16, 13: You are a God who sees me (careful, that’s my own literal translation of the version I know by heart, “Du bist ein Gott, der mich sieht”, which is why it might sound weird. Also, never forget how loved you are.
