    Financial Sorcery has been in my wishlist for a while now. Mindset is definitely everything when it comes to money magick. Napoleon Hill, Bob Proctor, Earl Nightingale and other folks from the new thought/positive thought community are great to go to also for acquiring the right mindset to accumulate wealth.

    I love Jason Miller’s books. Everything is practical and not just spells for this or that, but about living the life of a sorcery and employing sorcery strategically as a life style. And his use of language, like you said in the video, is so down to earth.

    People often think that the quote is "money is the root of all evil" when it's actually "THE WORSHIP OF MONEY is the root of all evil." Same with "blood is thicker than water" is really "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb." As in sometimes the best bonds, lifelong bonds you can have, are with those who aren't blood related to you. Also "birds of a feather flock together, until the cat comes home." It's a warning about fairweather friends. !!!

    13:03 This is so true..there's a saying which goes something like...you are the average of 5 people around you..they influence how you think..one is a survival mindset the other is the achieving mindset..it's so true.. sometimes the shift becomes too difficult...because achievers don't hang out with survivors, which is why survivors never get to know what must be done....millenials early in their career are still at a good place because they don't have a lot of debts, commitments etc..so they can easily push forward ..those in their late 20s will find it really difficult to change things..it will take a lot of effort to get out of a boring routine, continue making ends meet and try something new at the same time...struggling is a good sign because it shows that you are trying...but later on the struggle becomes too much..so many other things try to distract you and pull you down and stop you from moving forward...

    Coming in 4 months after the video has been posted and only just now seeing the video. Regarding the Financial Sorcery book and working with money spells, it is an absolutely good thing to do and a part of working with the gnomes or dwarves depending on your location. Yes money can corrupt the mind if you let it but if you know what you are doing then you are safe from the greed especially when you have good intentions behind the spellwork you are doing with your pennies and dimes.

      Just remember you do not have to separate your craft from everyday life. Incorporate different aspects of your craft into life where it feels like it belongs there at that time and place. You can kitchen witch when prepping family meals. If you have plants or gardens, you can practice while tending them. The energy is everywhere as you know, so use it! I find ways and being an older single dad, working my job and projects, and everyday life, I manage to incorporate the majick and make the time (even if only 5 mins) where I can. ~Light and Love~

    I liked this review....up until the money talk. I like the idea of being able to climb the economic ladder, but it sounds like it's one of the books that claim everybody can be rich if only they have the mindset. Money isn't always a mindset. The reason why rich people have rich children is because the kids have more opportunities than non-rich people (more financial support, more network options, more opportunities growing up, etc). The reason poor people often stay poor is because they don't have these opportunities (they are bridled with debt from a younger age, have to choose paying the bills over education or better opportunities, etc). All that said, I think the first book sounded really cool! I'm def going to be purchasing it.

This reminds me about the discourse around political witchery and how it is actually far more important to use your vote as a real person in the world than just to cast a spell and hope it works. • @looseleafpage5784
      @looseleafpage5784 5 років тому +2

      Hey Jason! I'm not Olivia (obviously) but I am very interested in tarot, but I might be able to help answer your question - tarot cards are always based around the card structure of four suited runs of minor arcana (basically follows a normal deck of cards), and the major arcana (sometimes referred to as the fool's journey). Oracle cards vary wildly, as they are based instead around the whim of the artist who creates them. They can be themed to a subject or story (I have a set based on Hawaiian mythology, for example) or they can be fairly random by the whim of the creator. Where tarot is based in an established structure and interpretation, oracle is based in the content their creator imbued them with.

    Hey :) I like your videos, very pleasant and educational to watch. I am a big fan of Jason. Jason Miller’s books are truly wonderful. Very real, practical and easy to follow. I run a coven in Sydney, Australia (The Coven of the Black Flame- a coven that works with Old-Ways magic in the Ancient Greek Goetic context) and I have made his books compulsory reading material for members and initiates.
    He has also made excellent contributions in 2 other books which, for those more interested in older forms of spirit/astrological magic, I outline below-->
    1. Ritual Offerings (Aaron Leitch and about 6 other authors, including J Miller)
    2. The Celestial Art by Eric Purdue and contributions by other authors.
    Jason has also featured on 2 x Glitch Bottle podcasts, which are also definitely worth listening to ;)
