The "pick your name and present it in front of the class" thing was the most accurate portrayal of school life I've ever seen in any form of media. Doing presentations in front of the class was exactly like that, one kid does something no one else thought of and then a bunch of kids then doubt themselves and think they were doing it wrong. Then you see someone doing something that is closer to what you did and your filled with a sense of relief.
For a name that Present Mic named up on the spot, "Eraser Head" is actually really cool. In Japanese schools, students have a set of indoor shoes they change into when they arrive, and they leave them in their locker overnight. It's because of the Japanese customer of taking shoes off indoors, but they recognize school kids need to have shoes on when wandering around the building. The shoes Deku saw where Iida's indoor shoes. Meaning he'd left the building.
wait so do japanese people have indoor shoes for where they work and everything too then? because it would be weird to only do that with a school. here in europe we also take off our shoes if we enter someones house, but you still wear your regular shoes in buildings like schools, since the floor is more like in an office, than at home.
@@kriegnes In the case of work, the short answer is "it depends". Some companies will expect their employees to present a certain image and wear professional looking shoes in the work place. This will especially be true in customer facing jobs, or in the extremely strict environment of a Japanese corporation. But other companies will be more relaxed. So it's going to depend overall on the rules set by the employer. Even in a situation where you do have to change your shoes, it's not quite that simple. You might change into your soft, clean, indoor shoes, and then have to take them off anyone when going into certain rooms depending on the type of floor. It's a big faux pas minefield.
But I liked Alien Queen more than Pinky :( The name Bakugo wanted works a bit better in Japanese, it's Bakusatsuou which is close to his name (baku = bomb, satsu = murder, ou = king, and bakuhatsu = explosion).
If you were a pro hero would you take a student under your wing who hurts himself every time he uses his quirk and pretty much wrecked his arms to with a fight with no lives on the line, which he lost anyway? Deku largely never showed off his power until the fight with Shoto in which he messed himself up to much to continue the tournament even if he won, even with Recovery Girl's help. Its little surprise that the one pro hero who requested him new the true nature of his quirk.

“Why does she have handcuffs on?” It’s a little nod to her biggest effect on the hero world: her original costume was so skimpy that they passed a law requiring heroes to cover a given percentage of their skin.
Even if you like it I have to assume Midoriya would get a lot of flack for using the name Kid Might or All Might Jr, even now that he has his power. Kirishima did something similar by naming himself after Crimson Riot, but he isn't as famous or placed on such a high of a pedestal. At least he didn't use "jr" in the name.
@@kriegnes I'm pretty sure he's paralyzed **SPOILERS FOR SEASON 5** In the flashback when Iida is removing his mufflers so they grow back stronger, it shows his mom and his brother. His brother is in a wheelchair. That's really the only "evidence" I have to support this
Yah it might sound bad. But sometimes when our loved ones tell us something we dont accept it because we assume "of course theyd say that" but when someone close to you that you arent even close with gives you sound advice, it hits different. Todoroki's acceptance and self reflection inspired by Deku is so real!
Aside from Midoriya finding the names he thought was funny, it will sound awkward. Especially some of his classmates already noticed how similar he is to All Might. Edit: You'll soon find out why All Might is scared of Gran Torino. Though both of em shares some similarities. But I think it is because he's also All Might's mentor.
@@TheReactPack I think it's because if anything happens on the field it's gonna be the agency's responsibility, and it's gonna destroy their reputation if they take Deku out for a patrol and he uses his quirk and his arm becomes useless forever or something (even if it would technically be Deku's fault they're the ones that would take the blame as the adults). Also imagine if a member of the agency needs help in a battle but Deku's out of commission with 2 broken arms, then they both get beaten and the villain escapes and they will need an ambulance. Midoriya right now seems like a handicap as far as internships go.
@@TheReactPack where is the line between being a driven person and just having mental issues? also villains dont give a shit about drive. they will kill u if you cant beat them
Here's an idea for the ultimate anime crossover: Cell returns and not only defeats the Dragon Ball Gang, but also gains knowledge of other Shōnen Jump universes and how to access / travel through them. Cell then sets his newest goal into motion - to conquer new worlds… and destroy every anime hero across the Multiverse.
Cell would one-shot almost every single character who's ever appeared in Shōnen Jump, to be honest. Certainly there's nobody in the MHA universe who could even slow him down. Almight might be able to punch out a city block. But Cell can dust solar systems.
All might was shaking more when thinking of a harmless old man then when he was faced with a psycho with hands who srsly wanted to kill him, and his mist butler and giant pet
I personally thought the writer screwed up when he had Lida split up with Deku and Uraraka during the games for his own "individuality" only to team up with Todoroki someone already thought to be stronger. only made him look like a snake (KD leaving the thunder and westbrook to join curry and the warriors XD) so it was very hard to root or even feel sorry for him during this arc like even with his brothers situation all I kept thinking was how you gonna be all gloom and doom when your brother is still alive cuz I think everyone watching felt bad thinking he was killed so this is a good thing especially since Stain has literally killed 17 other heros.
@@J0J0__ is more about his Personality, Bakugo is written as a selfish, jealous & Bully but somehow the mangaka want us to believe that someone like him can be a hero. His dialogue are like a villian and the way he acts should be lead to that but Deku the main hero sees Bakugo as his force of inspiration? Very contradictory if you ask me. Bakugo: Why don’t you come outside and I can show you why murder is in my name!!!

I like Uraraka thinking about improving on her weak sides. Even if she primarily wants to do rescue, she will face villains too.
