Recently discovered your page. One of my favorite parts of your videos are the unexpected endings😂 it’s always an abrupt cut off. Also your technical breakdown of each move makes it possible to glean alot of information while also appreciating talented gameplay. So as a learning player, thank you🙏
I'm so glad I found your channel. I didn't played much this season (thanks Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk2077 for dropping big patches at the same time and eating all of my gaming time) but I watch your videos to be up to date with Gwent and you always menage to be entertaining, insightful and thorough keep up the great work! :D
I have so many games I want to play on the side. I've been slacking! Looking forward to playing Dying Light 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Monster Hunter Rise, RE Village to name a few.
@@Qcento nice list you got there, oh and I have to warn you about Cyberpunk once you get hooked there is no going back and when you reach the ending... I just say there will be a lot of feels (CDPR knows how to make good games (if only they knew how to fix them))
This is the deck I used in 9 and 10.1 except Phil obviously. Since Phil I added the 2 servants which turns Phil into a mini salamander especially if you add Cadaverine, too. Don't be afraid to use the Blightmaker to poison using a special card. That can have a huge effect with Phil. Phil is devastating used correctly.
You are seriously tempting me with this list, but I wanted to stay away from NG this season :D maybe I will give it a try, looks super fun to play! Philippe has become such a threat this update ^^
Hey Q, I've recently been dabbling with some NG spies and soldiers in an attempt to create something like an "off-brand siege" deck. There are some nice combo pieces there and given your proclivities for control I thought this might be an archetype that would be interesting to you, too. What do you say?
@@Qcento I think there are several ways to go about this. Key golds would be Emhyr, Braathens, Coup, and I'd say Fergus & Fercart. On the bronze end, I'd say Impera Enforcers and Mangonel are key cards because of their interactions with the spying status.I also play Ffion since there are a lot of engines that are worth protecting. Other than that, I run some generic NG stuff like Yenvo, Blightmaker/Mage Assassin, DMT, Imperial Diplomacy. Oh, and the bronze spies ofc. If you wish to lean into soldiers, I'd say Ramon, paired possibly with Affan, Crossbowmen and/or Illusionists could afford some additional control and flexibility. In that case, Imperial Formation and its additional prov. seem sensible. You could also lean more into assimilate, going for Terranova, and, you know, other assimilate engines. There are some more "adventurous paths" that I could see people trying. Like ball/dames/usurper. Or Philippe. The core mechanic that I'd be looking to take advantage of, in either case though, would be the "spying" status.
At 44:30 when your dame got Philippa'd, why didn't you coup it back? You ended up using the coup later on a emmisary which I think is less points? Am I missing something?
I was trying to hold out for one of their gold cards but a better opportunity never came. Taking the Dame earlier on would've been more points looking back.
Played against this and it feels OP Edit: actually played against a variation with Emhyr devotion and dames Edit 2: I think replacing Usurper and diplomacies with Emhyr and dames would be very good. Coup would be amazing then.
This actually looks like fun and it's not the same Nilfgaard goodstuff pile which is a nightmare. I am a strong believer that coup and terranova should only be able to target bronze cards and get a prov buff, fight me!
That's an interesting take. I'm not against Tnova getting a nerf to 14p like Fucusya of SK. The Coup idea is interesting but the only concern I have is not being able to Coup NG specific disloyal golds. I feel like there would have to be a clause for that otherwise it could make a few cards unplayable.
@@Qcento The clause about disloyal NG cards is a great idea. I don't know about Terra, I mean if you set him up properly you get your opponent's best gold which is certainly 10-12 points if not more, Terranova with a proc and an assimilate engine. This is kinda sus.
looks at the title sees the deck---i see what you did there XD

Hey Q, how to change the deck to play with it in patch 10.3? They changed the cost of the provision of the card "Mage Assassin" from 4 to 5 units.

"If we greed it we brick", truest wisdom there lol
In the 1st game you could've played this locker guy on the melee, 'cause bleeding is a status, so the elephant would be destroyed, he

Love the reaction when the first opponent threw down scenario turn one...

Deck helped me reach pro rank today! Thanks for all the great content Q
Imagine a meta where playing the ball is ethical. 😂 thx for the video
I'm a simple man, I see Nilfgaard, click and hit like without a second thought.

What cards would it be centered around? I can definitely look into it.

What dark age we are living in, were playing ball is considered ethical.
That poor deathwish MO player lol. This deck is just the perfect counter to that

Isnt bleeding considered status aswell?
Yes, elephant could be destroyed
Are you gonna play on tournament top64
I'm not thaaaaat good.
Dope
Handbuff is still good in 10.2 🤔
Nah... SC in general is just weak

That first game was a cringe
