fully customized world seed is an amazing idea. Idk if you know of the USW that TrixyBlox has been doing in Minecraft but it absolutely blew up his channel. I'd love to see something similar done in Terraria and I think a LOT of other people would too if it was done well

Love the “Lincoln log” aesthetic of the ash wood. Should work nicely with dynasty wood and large bamboo.

The new tree is so good, because the wood is actually different. was i the only one who wanted wood from the athstetic trees to be different? I like the whole look of the trees themselves, as they fit hell really well. the dev team came up with a great design for how the remix seed starts, visually and mechanically.
I'm also extremely happy about how hell has more depth, rather than lava lakes and obsidian structures.
You know that all the other trees have unique furniture and stuff right?

Making your own world from scratch does sound like a difficult task but I think it would turn out really cool in the end. I've personally thought about doing that eventually once I've played the game much more but I have no doubt you would make a really awesome world if you did it.

Terraria shows there is always something new to be added and refined, that even something great can be improved upon.
basically every terraria update is like a feast for new content
i love that pomegranate is exclusive to Ash trees found in the underworld, because it calls back to Greek mythology where Hades gave Persephone pomegranate seeds 😄
i do hope we get more pome and pepper recipes though, especially with pepper. imagine making chili in Terraria...

Not a new viewer, but still very excited about the new update and new content from all the Terraria UA-camrs. You even introduced me to other people I didn't even know about. I was there when you got that lava charm on your first try after quitting the day earlier.
The ash light sources would be perfect for underwater builds! It looks so similar to coral

This new set is so cool! A new wood type that is closer to living sets is exactly what I wanted from this, so I'm completely happy with this one. Great vid Khaios!
I absolutely love the new ash wood and it's furniture looks wonderful for a nature build.
From what little I've tested with ash wood, I like how it looks with spooky wood, they blend pretty well together (at least for me)
The dirt block sometimes gets my anxious when your building because it looks like an item that's refusing to be picked up. (I love the new ash wood fences)
You've probably already thought about this, but you should make a build in the Remix seed! All the lush caves are beautiful, and honestly the surface has such a metal aesthetic, where there's literally no sunlight and constant shooting stars.
I haven't had time to look into or even learn about the new seeds yet, as I'm working very hard on getting daily videos out. So that's a great suggestion! I probably won't have time to dive into a new seed until after the 2 week run is done, but I'll definitely take a look afterwards! Thanks :D
I would 1000% play a world seed designed by you! I've always been envious of your seemingly endless ideas and creativity, especially when it comes to shaping your landscape. I'd never play a different seed again!
man that ash wood set is amazing, as someone who LOVES working with wood in this game and the various types, this really gets me inspired. excellent stuff from yourself and the dev team.
I'll never stop being amazed at your builds. The lava section at the end was amazing. The negative ice was the perfect touch. I really wanna be the creative, but I just don't know enough about the game cosmetics to do it. (all the types of blocks, walls, paints etc)

Happy to see your channel grow, I've seen you for a while and i think you're probably the most talented Terraria builder out there, which brings me to you're own custom seed.
I would absolutly love to see this happen, it can take as long as it takes, but it would be a dream come true.
I have played a lot of you're maps, and i always wondered how cool it would be if every one of them were fused to create the ultimate map, you don't even need to create every thing from scratch, there are so many builds that you can just use them again, like that crazy Skeletron dungeon you made, or the houses you did for the NPC's and the Pylons and others.
Just know that i and meny others would love to see this idea come true if you decide to make it, and again, no rush.

Fun fact, this new mini-biome is my first experience ever with the 1.4.4 update. I decided to start out by playing the new ‘getfixedboi’ seed with my son, which automatically generated the hell forest at spawn.
Though uh, suffice it to say neither of us stayed around very long. That seed just wasn’t fun.
Why do i see you everywhere?
It can be very annoying going in without higher tier equipment from another world, but once you get a good base built and some equipment to stop burning from fire blocks I find it very fun

I absolutely adore the way Ash Furniture looks, it's so organic and unique, it's just super pretty and I can already tell I'm gonna use it a lot

Even if you don’t decide to landscape an entire world (which would be an incredible feat, and I would absolutely help if I could) I would love to see a structure for the other new minibiome, the sparkle. It has a very different vibe to anything else in the game, and I think the creative potential for a structure is very high.

I love the sparkle. If you build a house in the sparkle the Scraggler NPC has a 0.1% chance to move in everyday!

Upon seeing the trees and using the wood I immediately felt the "is this my new spooky wood?"
Ash wood is such a cool addition to the building scene. I imagine it would look great for scenes around a meteor landing, or another type of tainted forest kinda vibe.

So not sure if others caught on this, but I love the reference to Hades' Underworld with the use of pomegranate. Anyway, glad to see new woods. It won't replace my love of the Boreal set, but it does offer me an idea for the tax collector. Always remind him where he ended up before we pulled him up.
For years now I have been trying to build a custom world seed using buildings and even custom biomes, but it is a monumental task for one person haha. I hope you do really consider doing it because your builds fit so naturally with the style of the game.

Speaking about old fashioned hellevators, I wish the new fluid could be used for it earlier on.
But... actually, let's make it a drill mount that inherits your pick's stats and digs strictly down, but it adds a flat amount of speed to it that helps A LOT early on, dropped by miner zombies and maybe chests. 7:50 This is 100% what I'd do if I was a dedicated builder, also put down little dungeons and single rooms that have spawners etc.
Ohh, and as not a dedicated builder, I'd LOVE to finally do another playthrough in your world
Yeah i'm really happy with the Ash wood and how Hell as its own flora now. and the surface mini-biome you made looks awesome! It'd make for a great Volcano map or some sort of volcanic charred mini-biome. It also kinda makes me wish that Hell worked like an infection and would spread , burning other biomes and creating ash trees.
Since ash trees don't need sunlight to grow, and need ash this implies that they aren't plants but are closer to the chemotrophs at the bottom of the sea and they will more likely be an armored fungi feeding on nutritional ash
