Bruno yesterday a case in point (was paying particular attention as I needed every point from him as C), and as per UEFA he had no recoveries in the second half which to anyone with half a brain is a joke, regardless of the specific definition of a ball recovery.
Haven’t been watching football lately and I’ve built my MD1 draft with the help of these cheatsheet videos, stuck with it though I had a terrible MD1 with only 2 transfers in MD2 and really satisfied with the outcome. 99 pts in MD2 and 90k overall as of now with 141 pts. I'm also wary of teams that can guarantee each other 1st and 2nd by drawing (like Germany v Switzerland). When this situation presents itself, "tacit" dull as dishwater 0-0 have occurred far too often in past WC/Euros to make picking attacking players from those teams riskier than they appear.
yeah, makes sense re: Germany. I'm actually less likely to go 3x Germany on my limitless for this reason (and Switzerland are probably the toughest team they've faced thus far).
Fernandes, more potential points to be scored as he can get clean sheet, ball recoveries, assist and goal. Also created a lot of chances last game. I don’t see Ronaldo getting more than one goal personally but anything is possible.
Try CR7 instead, he plays Turkey who could have given up 2/3 goals. Georgia were very wasteful. Portugal should feel motivated to score multiple goals and secure their top spot (which is possible given h2h tiebreak)

He is a ball recovery player in general too, if you have seen him at all in Leverkusen.

Saka has been carrying a knock for a while. Don't think it's bad enough to take him off but maybe Southgate is protecting him a bit. Who knows?
