@@0PsychosisMedia0 🤟🤟🤟 not too many bands could do that... did kiske kicked or did he leave? I believe i heard he didn't like metal i don't know if that was a rumor or not
@@marbanivet he indeed didn’t like metal around the early 90’s, or at least the metal that was available back then with all the Panteras and the Fatih no mores . How could you blame him? However the traditional approach was not considered cool and Michael Weikath had to kick him out in order to ensemble a reliable metal band. Against all odds he succeeded with Andi Deris and thank god for that !
I love the intro in this track, the power of those drums and those guitars in the middle are just amazing. It is hard to know about the different singers as they all have a unique style and they are all very good. Glad you enjoyed the song. Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day.
When Deris sings his stuff, Kiske and Kai theire stuff thats when Helloween its at its best. Saw them 3 times last tour with them all together again. Each show was almost 3 hours long with all the hits from every era. 😊
Ummm is this the best reaction channel on UA-cam at the moment?... i think so... love your open mind and willingness to accept the different singers. Deris is my favorite Helloween vocalist but I enjoy them all for what they are. Keep it up my friend
Thank you for showcasing Helloween. No matter the singer, the songs are so superb. Plus it's Helloween! ... Staying with Andi, I recommend "Mr. Torture" and "The Dark Ride". Also "Wake Up The Mountain". Those are three of my favorite Andi songs. Thank you again! ... Oh and I can't wait til you go down the Rabbit hole known as Gamma Ray! 😁😁😁
I'm quite happy that all 3 singers are back in the band. In the Pumpkins United version of How many Tears, the 3 guys are used perfectly. Kiske is singing the epic part; Kai Hansen and Deris are sharing the more aggressive parts. It's simply awesome. I hope the new albu, will use the 3 singers as good as that.
My favorite Helloween albums are the two Keeper albums, the Uli Kusch albums (Master through The Dark Ride), and Rabbit Don't Come easy (and maybe Gambling with the Devil).
I feel as Helloween fans that we need to stop thinking of Michael as the guy who did everything. Because while he did sing on their two most popular albums, he only had 4. Kai had 1. Andi had the rest. Andi was up until 2016 the frontman of the band.
Been following you for a while now man, damn love your reactions and you seem like such a chill dude. Greetings from a swede Ps had to edit my comment. Please look into the band Lizzy Borden. Not just their Most commercial stuff but Most of their backlog has so much worth to discover! Naming a single song would be like picking amongst your children . (Which no one can) god speed
@The Adventures of TNT nice reaction keep the Helloween tracks coming, i think I'm like you i didn't grow up to listening to this at all so I'm fine with all singers.
If you want to hear really, really gritty vocals from Deris, listen to pretty much anything from their Rabbit don't come Easy album. It's VERY underrated in my opinion, and doesn't get enough love. I'd suggest Back Against the Wall, Liar, or Sun 4 The World. I'm glad you love Helloween so much!!! 🤘🤘
This is the album I remember most. My favorite song by them is on this one. "Halloween." I always though a band named Helloween, must have a song named "Halloween," well, it doesn't disappoint. It's a jam. I give it four horns, lol.🤘🤘🤘🤘 😁
If I may humbly give a suggestion, give a listen to Blind Guardian's Lost in the Twilight Hall if you haven't. Kai Hansen (Helloween's original singer/guitarist) is featured as a guest vocalist on that particular song. It's one of BG's most underrated songs in my opinion. The dueling guitar work is masterful on it.
I probably asked this before but would you listen to an unknown band on your channel? Objector - My Mind Insane, they're a Belgian thrash metal band who deserve a lot more attention in my opinion, they only have 55 subscribers.
Catch ya tomorrow night, can't wait to see Slipknot DESTROY Pantara! An interesting matchup, as both band had a devastating death of a band member. I'm sure you either know about this, or I imagine you'll find out. I've noticed you like to know the musicians & their stories. These are pretty sad, I even remember when Dimeback Darryl died. I actually met him once at a thing they did at Peaches Records, (remember them? ) anyway, I got autographs etc. But Phil, the singer was being kind of a dick, so my friend & I went out back to...um...have a smoke, if you know what I mean. Out of nowhere Darryl came ove and said, "Hey man, lemme get a hit on that." We passed the 'dutchie' for a few & heard about their tour with White Zombie & other music bs. Then he left. It's another powerful moment in my journey....and a way too long comment. Sorry. 🤪
With Helloween, all 3 vocalists bring separate dynamics to the music. For example, the song Keeper of the seven keys, Andi does a reasonable job of it, but stops short of singing it as good as Michael. However, Doctor Stein originally sung by Michael, I believe Andi does a much better job of it. You might want to start listening to songs progressively from each album, The Dark Ride has some awesome tracks on it, as does Better than Raw. Wanna hear sheer brilliance from Deris? Listen to O Laudate dominum.
I have a 'left field' suggestion you might like - a Japanese all-female punk trio, The Let's Go's, whose songs are energetic, fun, have clear hints of a classic upbeat 70s punk sound, and are often very short. Try either their one minute(!) burst Kaiju (Monster) ua-cam.com/video/o7boTXBbGpQ/v-deo.html or this longer track, which I believe translates to 'Thank You Song' ua-cam.com/video/rKO4itMgTDE/v-deo.html Even if you don't want to do a reaction to a band you've never heard of, check them out.
Deris is kind of the Anette Olzon of Helloween, sounds great on the albums, but live is hit or miss. I think it's the constant howling he does that puts me off. But I can't believe the ultimate Helloween requester expert hasn't requested "The Dark Ride". And so many amazing deeper cuts that won't get mentioned, and stuff from Chameleon which is such a horrible album. Giants, Music, Revolution Now for examples of how horrible that album is.
Idk what are you talking about On the pumpkins united tour in Bulgaria it was Andi who saved the situation. Or watch live on 3 continents He is BEAST there
Helloween fans:
- Oh no, Michael Kiske got kicked out, this band is dead !
Helloween:
- You sure ? Hold our beer and check out the new guy

Kiske went from looking like a Bruce Dickinson clone to looking like a mini Butterbean! His voice is as powerful as ever though.
