Oh yeah! I'd try that. They are so pretty, and I'm a self taught nail artist, still learning, and I'm not gonna lie, sometimes it takes me hours to do my nails, and they don't always turn out the way I plan so those would be a real nice change of pace.

I also wear them at that length or a little shorter for work. That length also does not require a huge lifted apex to keep them at a more natural look.
They're beautiful! I would end up keeping them long and doing a clear tip at the end and dress them up to be extra. I gotta have long nails but would def want to try these.

Lifting can happen for several reasons. First make sure your natural nails are completely dry. Don't do your nails after doing dishes or taking a shower. Make sure you are not over prepping and filing the natural nail. If you over file the natural nails products won't properly adhere. Make sure you clean the natural nail very well to ensure there's no oils. You may find you need a dehydrator and/or primer. Try two coats of primer. Don't oversaturate the nail with either product or flood the cuticle area with it, as that will also cause lifting. Apply very thin layers and let it dry before applying your gel. Lastly, make sure you don't get any gel or gel polish on the skin or cuticle because that can cause lifting as well as an allergy to gel products. Hope this helps you!

@@MizzRivera86 You're so welcome....happy to help!!! Lissette has a great dehydrator you can get on her website and I believe the link is in the description box. I use that along with Young Nails Protein Bond and I have no lifting. She has just been using the dehydrator and has had good success, but if you've over filed your natural nail or you just need the extra adhesion then I suggest the addition of a primer like Protein Bond on top of that. It's a little pricey at about $16 per bottle. I usually get it when they do their buy one get one free sales. Mia Secret also has a good, affordable primer. Good luck!!!!

I loved how they turned out. You should start making some long designs and sell them. They would be pretty easy to make just using gel polish and and doing a partial cure. Like their site says they are 70% cured. I’m sure if you made some of your beautiful long designs they would fly off the shelves, lol.
