Event partners will all get strips for one field and be expected to have them on at least one field (probably skills first). I’m an EP and I will have the strips on all fields. My guess is that it will eventually become a requirement for all fields. Also, I would expect all fields at worlds to have them.

@@drewd.5636 yes that would certainly be ilegal. You are not allowed to put parts on your robot to purposely confuse sensors such as the vision or GPS sensor
I feel like it’s just safer to go with shaft encoders or rotation sensors for now at least

The latest version of the ‘Tipping Point’ Game Manual requires any fields used for Programming Skills have the strips.

That's a great idea! Unfortunately, I doubt I will be able to do this anytime soon. Have you tried the example code that you can find in vexCode?
