It always puzzles me why wealthy people get so excited about trying to avoid the OAS clawback. If you are earning more than $90,000 a year in retirement, you are doing very well! Such fortunate people should be happy in my opinion to pay back a little to this fabulous country that has allowed them to accumulate such wealth. 🇨🇦
Totally fair point @jwallace9984 in the grand scheme of things OAS clawback should not be something to lose sleep over. If you can avoid it then great but if not, there are worse positions to be in!
The shifting economy has led many to pursue extra sources of income, and I'm contemplating the stock market as a means to reach my $3M retirement goal. However, the recent crash has raised some concerns.

For the majority, their problem can be resolved through specialized knowledge, so seeking advice from a knowledgeable advisor is a good idea.
