We had Mr Keaggy at my school in Ohio right after the What a Day album was released (around 1974). He, and others, were such great influences on a young struggling Christian teen. Thank you Phil, for allowing Jesus to use you to bless the body of Christ. I have tickets to see you in PA in June. I'm not sure I can make it but you, your family, and ministry are in my prayers. God bless you.

I got saved in 1987 just prior to entering the military. A friend I met in Germany gave me a mix tape of Phil’s and I wore the thing out over the next four years of my tour in Stuttgart. Listened to it every single day from 1992 to 1996 and have loved Phil’s music ever since. Thank you Phil for giving a young prog-rock guitar player some life-sustaining music to help wean me out of the world-system! God Bless!

Phil's albums from when he started with a trio signed to Decca through crimson and blue, and blue outtakes were my favorite music from phil,I read he met Paul Mccartney at a wedding reception for Pauls sister in law and Phil got to play one on one with Paul and gave him a guitar as a gift from a Tennessee guitar shop.

Been praying for Beatles to surrender to Jesus. Jesus has his own beatle here. Hahaha🎉I saw a picture of young Phil with a guitar. He looked like a young Paul and George put together. Also I really think Phil is much more talented.🎉❤

This videoclip was used by a Dutch tv program called Highlights, broadcasted in 1989 or 1990 by EO, produced by Siebren Rijpma. I wonder if it was recorded for that purpose?

Maybe it's better that he didn't get very famous? I still own the second Glass Harp album. I found it in a second haha hand store. I made my guitar teacher teach me the chords for Children's Fantasy back in the mid 90s.
The irony is it's about a "easy" gal....
He's a clean and sober man. Who started his career with a psychedelic rock band.

Paul McCartney's brother from another mother. I've loved both from early childhood. I used to think he was Paul. Recently found out Paul is my distant cousin along with Bowie and Sting. I guess that's happen when your 90% British 😂😂. Love this song!!!

@@Edwin-pw7cu Of all the musicians you could have chosen to attack, you have no idea how much you are barking up the wrong tree here. Phil Keaggy is one of the most sincere Christian artists there has ever been. You are all bent out of shape over one song. Listen to any of his albums to see your mistake. Trying to be secular? He was a secular artist, and a very successful one, but he chose to leave that life and dedicate his music to God.

@@donmcc6573 ok. Well Joe English I listen to him, he was the drummer for Wings before he became a Christian. Paul McCartney worshipped Satan so maybe he didn’t know this about the one he is trying to emulate. Joe English plays Christian Rock music.
