Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is perhaps the cleanest hill capitals of India. Neat and clean, this city with all its beauty and charm will make you fall in love with it.
Our trip started from ENCHANTED FOREST FARM, which is technically in Gangtok but around 45 mins away from the city centre.. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the breathtaking scenery the comfortable accommodation that provided us with everything we needed for a cosy and rejuvenating stay. We spent our days exploring the rolling hills, observing the bustling farm life, and taking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. We even hiked to a nearby natural pool and waterfall where we made a modern local delicacy/fast food of SIkkim called Wai Wai Sadheko. As the sun set each day, we were treated to the most stunning views of the stars and the peaceful sounds of nature. It was a magical experience that we will never forget.

Later we moved closer to the city. Our stay over here was in a boutique stay named Soke. Around 15 mins from the city centre it might feel a bit far initially, but once you settle, you'll realize that its actually better to be in such a peaceful location. With plush interiors and a humble staff, this is surely a pleasant stay option.

To explore the city today, Soke's owner Legsang became my Gangtok tour guide and buddy. And being a local he definitely knows this city in and out. WIth him we covered both the popular tourist places of Gangtok like Enchey Monastery and MG Marg and a secret spot that only he knew about.
Even though our time was limited, but Gangtok has certainly built a connection with me. The place is an eclectic mix of culture and modernity. While the little shops and hole in the wall eateries give it a distinct Sikkimese character; the mountains, the greenery and the mist, give it that laid-back vibes of a sleepy hill station.

What I love about your vlogs or videos that these look like more of documentary rather than a usual travel blog. That's the whole point about your show. You try to mix up with the culture and people and you show us to them without any hurry. Love these slow pace type or style of yours. You just take time and then u present that.

Beautiful... Gazing at a heavenly view from the Enchanting forest farm of sprawling lush green mountains with hovering clouds over the deep and beautiful valley gives a spectacular view. Soke BnB is a warm place to hang on for a couple of days. The hospitality is simply awesome... No doubt, the ravishing life in Gangtok is MG road, where activity is full of life.. Locals are seen strolling and enjoying their heart out. The market is attractive and small, yet its sheen of charm could be gauzed during prime time in the evening.. Too good Abhishek..
