Three that come to mind as an England fan in the “emotional” category would be Alastair Cook getting to his 100 and then his walk off after getting out. One I will probably remember more than any other was when Jonny Bairstow got his first test match 100 and looked up to the sky, visibly fighting the urge to cry his eyes out, as he thought of his Dad. That was highly emotional.
Yes, Phil Hughes' Australia test number was 408. One moment of respect was when Graeme Smith came out to try to save a match against Australia at the SCG with a broken hand. He certainly had the respect of the Australia team, as well as most of the crowd. Tendulkar's retirement was like many others. Ponting was shown similar respect by South Africa a few years earlier, with the South Africa team making a guard of honour as he made his way to the crease.
The Phil Hughes dedication was part of a very surreal and smiling-through-the-tears kind of Test match for players, commentators and fans. Smith said later that the cricket felt kind of irrelevant, yet some of those who had been closest to Hughes actually played blinders. Warner scored a hundred in each innings, Smith made over 200 in the game unbeaten and Clarke made a hundred as well, after giving a very moving eulogy at Hughes’ funeral the week before.
8:25 Mashrafe Murtaza. Bangladesh 🇧🇩 captain was not annoyed by this fan running in the middle. He was saving that man from security and allowed him to the field.
Ian Bell was controversially run out by the Indian fielders when he left his crease thinking that the ball had gone to the boundary. However, the ball had not crossed the boundary, and the Indian fielders dislodged the bails while Bell was out of his crease. The Indian team appealed, and the on-field umpires gave Bell out. After the tea break, during which the incident was discussed, MS Dhoni and the Indian team decided to withdraw the appeal and call Ian Bell back to the crease. MS dhoni received ICC spirit of award of the decade for this decision.
Bell Assumed that bowl has goen for the boundary So Indian was absolutely right in the law and Sprite of the game to run him out and stay with their decision it was Bell fault 100% Birlitan fielding effort was goen in a vain there but it was the correct decision for the England Spectators n Bell Should have said thank you and sorry for his mistake
Hey guys, another fun reaction. I have a bit of news for you that you may find interesting. There is an Australia promotion week happening in Las Vegas in March 2024. The event will feature two of the opening round games of Australia's National Rugby League competition. The games will probably be played at Allegiant Stadium. The four teams that will be playing are two 1908 original teams the Roosters and the Rabittohs, love em or hate em Manly Sea Eagles, and the best of them all, my team, the Brisbane Broncos.
@@Bucketcity126 , yeh I know but as one that has been around from the beginning I took a liberty - my apologies if I offended you. I know that Nick and Gabe are sports fans and this is a pretty big event.
ok the one with ian bell and dhoni ian bell hit the ball the indian fielder chased the ball as he got to the ball and tried to flick it back the ball hit his knee and the fielder thought the ball had gone for 4 runs and so did eveyone else it was the last ball of the over before tea so the fielder just walked ove and picked the ball up and thrown it back to dhoni and he took the bails off then dhoni asked the umpire how's that so the umpire asked for replay but on replay the ball it did not hit the rope so it was not 4 runs so the tv umpire gave bell out so while tea was going on they had words members of both sides and in the intrest of fair play and interest of sportsmanship india aloud bell to continue it was not bells fault everyone thought the ball had gone for 4

7:53 gold and bronze actually. Australian Peter Norman won silver and supported their protest, for which he paid dearly.
Love your guys passion for the wonderful sport of cricket!!👏
Sachin Tendulkar the god of cricket 🏏 ♥ is emotional too for billions.
Gilchrist got a lot of heat from the press for walking 🚶♂️ off 🏏

G'day Guys! Adam Gilchrist was famous for walking when he knew he was out even sometimes contrary to the umpire's decision... Cheers!

Its funny what happened afterwards.
Congratulations to USA cricket 🏏🏏🏏
I wonder if Dhoni would have called Bell back if it was in the middle of the session, rather than near a break.
Yes it was Tendulkars decision and dravid also wanted to bring him back

This is why I respect Jonathan Issac for not kneeling. Mixing politics and sports. What a bunch of BS!?
There is nothing political about kneeling for a cause, it's a societal issue. If you choose to make it political, that's on you.
@@utha2665 May I ask you to expand on the “societal” issue you’re talking about?
Inzamam ul Haq's retirement match and when he was Literally Crying walking back to pavilion was even makes everybody cry 😭
