An August Smart Keypad installed outside the gate will give keyless access whenever you do not have your smartphone on you. Moreover, with personal, temporary codes you can give one-time access to e.g. gardening or pool services, and keep track of who entered and when.
The included weatherproof housing protects your August Smart Lock from sun, wind and rain.
Included in the Adapter and Housing Kit:

Available in left-closing version (bolt slides to the left to lock) and right-closing version (bolt slides to the right to lock). Also available for August 3rd Gen Smart Lock and August Smart Lock Pro. Adapter plate made in USA.
Note: Installation of the Adapter requires an area of 8” x 5” on the door flush with the doorjamb which may require attaching a piece of wood of appropriate thickness to the door (see product pictures for an example).
