With light gear and half a dozen kids slinging baits, whiting fishing can get madly chaotic in a hurry. Nobody seems to have told whiting that they're not sharks!

If you can replace the GMO canola do it - super heating it makes it more unstable too - I shallow fry steamed potatoes in organic butter - real easy when camping too - gentle heat on gas stove using non-stick pan

Mullets a go, but the chips need a bit of work. Use lard for the chips and cook them twice leaving them to cool in-between. Once ya go fat ya never go back 😁

Keep the mullet but if you catch anything fresh for hard bait it’s best to use it! This is my opinion from commercial fishing all up and down the east coast for bottom bashing in the last few years
Levies will most lively be the best baits in the more over fished spots tho
Whoa 50 whiting each, hope you do the easy scale in the open weave bag towed behind your boat, then just gill/gut in one, few slots and deep fry.. yummo

Bud, I have watched close to every episode you have done if not every one. I'm not a huge youtube fan and don't even have the time to watch many youtubers. But I make sure if you put something up, I watch. Just like your style. Your good at what you do, a die hard fishead, good to the kids (I got 3), good family man, I'm betting a hard worker (why you don't do as many vids as others I'm guessing).
Just seems I can relate. EXCEPT you live in an epic area of the world where fishing paradise is easier to get to.
