There are various references to an Italian movie called Malena (if I'm not mistaken), in this movie a woman with red hair lives in a small village without a partner and she is considered the most beautiful woman, making men lust for her and the rest of the village women hate her. The cigarette scene is also a reference to the movie, where Malene had a bunch of men offering her a lighter. We can see Hwasa being more free and daring when she has red hair. For me, red-haired Hwasa is who she is today, a woman who is proud of herself and decided to not gather to societies norms, even if she gets hate, and even if it hurts, she won't let herself suffer because of it. And black haired Hwasa is who she was when the hate, press, negative attention and failure left her in a dark place. In the lyrics she says to herself "Don't struggle, you are already beautiful" and I think that realizing that was what made her confident and express herself more comfortably.

The MV starts with a crime scene, Hwasa is dead and people are still trying to take some shots of her. A red hair Maria (an alter ego after Hwasa baptismal name) is watching the scene careless. Hwasa funeral, only empty chairs with invitation on it and with its back turned, nobody cares like she says in the lyrics. Here an homage to the most beautiful and powerful scene in Malena movie, with all those men offering their lighter to her.
