- I'm pretty familiar with Internet Memes… but the “Honse” one was something I missed. Fortunately, there's Crossy Road, which is loaded with multigenerational memes. 😄
So while Hipster Whale is keeping Crossy Road players up-to-date with recent Internet jokes, Photics.TV is keeping Crossy Road players up-to-date with the latest hidden characters. That's what this video is about. It shows how the “Honse” character was unlocked, in the “Farm” area of Crossy Road.
This video is also about an interesting character design story. 🙂

The result from Siri mentioned the Untitled Goose Game. While I hadn't played the game. I was somewhat familiar with its existence. I couldn't remember the name… because it kinda doesn't have one. 😄
And that was something I was thinking about… is this an official collaboration, or was Hipster Whale was like… _let's just put the Goose in the game._ 😄
While holding the knife, the goose can sneak up on the guy and run into him before he runs away. He makes a thud sound then runs away.

It would have been cool if Hipster Whale would’ve made it to obtaining the ‘Centaur Farmer’ by clearing a certain amount of Crops and the ‘UFO Chicken’ would abduct the ‘Farmer’, hints the ‘Farmer’ becoming a ‘Centaur Farmer’.

Ha ha… it is too bad there wasn't a little more creativity into unlocking this character. The UFO Alien hiding in the crops seems like it should do something.
Saved a few £s by spending my virtual coins for farmer, goose and goat.. unlocked the centaur-farmer by using farmer. Easy to get after a few games. Half man half cow I guess! Great video.
As you can tell from the video, I have an absurd amount of coins. So, I didn't go the in-app purchase route either. But, the Ad Buster bonus has been really nice. I wasn't that excited about that particular in-app purchase, but it's been great with the Farm update. 😄

I think it's only possible with the Farmer. I tried main screen trick with every other character and waited for 5 minutes, but when I switched to farmer it appeared in 10 seconds!
It's hard to prove something like this, but it's starting to look like the Farmer is required. If it was possible, we'd probably see comments mentioning other characters by now.

When i was playing with the goose i didnt see a knife but i did see the farmer when playing as the goose and it looked lile the farmer in untitled goose game it was a cool easter egg i loved playing untitled goose game
There's like a family of these kinds of games… Untitled Goose Game, Goat Simulator, and Little Kitty Big City… heh… I've only played the Goat one.
When I see stuff like this, it adds to the suspicion that Hipster Whale is working on something new, perhaps an RPG or open world game. I'm not sure if they're doing something like that, but it seems like they should. Crossy Road seems like a fun world to explore.

Have you heard of the White Silky Chicken? It is a secret mascot unlocked with Motorbike Cow... You need to walk . You see a chicken with a big blue head. You tail it into into a barn and a whole new minigame starts! You have to find it under crops in a 15sec time limit. If you successfully get the chicken under its hiding spot, you unlock the White Silky Chicken mascot. It's not on the character list as a secret mascot so it's really secret.... And I found it.

Hii bro i love ur videos and i f u remember me i watched ur video since 2020. I just have a challenge for you and u could do a video about it. So u go to multiplayer mode and kill the first player and try to do the most score u can with only one taht left and the crazy thing is that the map will be more fast then ever so good luck.
There seems to be a video about it already on the channel… ua-cam.com/video/Jw-laObxNLc/v-deo.html …but that's the “Plus” version of the game. The original seems to have switched the multiplayer to that version.
I think the previous multiplayer on Apple TV was better. Hipster Whale did a big presentation at an Apple event… around 9 years ago. It was a nice somewhat cooperative event, where you could select your character.
This character took me a few tries to unlock
It seemed to appear with a similar rarity as the Hipster Whale.
Video idea : "Top 5 crossy road sceneries" I feel like it would be pretty interresting cause for example I hate the ocean scenary but enjoy playing on the space one. You can have your own opinion about which scenary do you like the most, plus comments can be pretty interesting
There are a lot of Crossy Road videos lately, so I'm just limiting it to just new characters. Photics.TV is not just about Crossy Road.
I even added the Prize Machine characters to this video, as it seemed a separate "Farm Week 2" video would be too much… and I didn't know what to say about the Centaur Farmer. 😄
I was thinking Hipster Whale could make a “Random” area, combine the highlights of the different locations. The “Ocean” area looks nice, but it's hard to know when the schools of fish will swim through… like the train on a standard area. I like the “Space” area, but all the rocks might be disorientating to some players. It's nice to have options.

I still think a Lawnmower is a great character idea, cutting the grass in Crossy Road. HA HA HA! 😄

I was also very disappointed when I didn’t get a character in Crossy Road after finding ufo chicken hiding
UFO Chicken's appearance was surprising, but the way the Centaur Farmer is unlocked was uneventful. It seems like that part of the game could be improved.

It's difficult to do the start screen on Android because the first two rows are taken up by Crossy Road. Am I correct in guessing that it only happens when there are three rows. And the cow has to be going from left to right. It never shows on one row, two rows or four rows because I have tried them. And it only happens at the beginning of the game. I got to 343 and other high scores & never saw it after the first 100 rows. I did just get it tonight after editing this post 4 times.

I have a question but you may be unsure about this! Will it work with Farmer chicken or any other skins as well for the Farm area?
I don't know for sure, but I'm starting to suspect that it might require the farmer. Three reasons…
1 - I'm not seeing comments mentioning other characters.
2 - I didn't see an opportunity with other characters
3 - The character wasn't available until this week.
Regarding that last reason, it's not 100%. Hipster Whale could simply have hidden the Centaur Farmer. But since it's part of this group, it does build on the idea that a character from this group might be required.

What character do you have to unlock for this character
It's shown in the video. I used the Farmer to unlock the Centaur Farmer. I mentioned that people could comment if they unlocked the Centaur Farmer with a different character. Since I didn't see any comments saying otherwise, it's looking like the “Farmer” is required - but I'm still not 100% sure.

@@sergiope3405 I use a controller (or the remote) with an Apple TV. So, that might be the difference.
It's still possible with the words “Crossy Road” on the screen, just harder to see.

I don't remember. I think it might be a matter of completing the Rainbow Rift stickers, but I'm not sure. 🤷🏻♂
I stopped playing the game not long after the Rainbow Rift tower was launched, as I cancelled my Apple Arcade subscription.

What is the title screen trick? How do I do that?
There are a lot of secret characters in Crossy Road that involve randomly appearing characters. The Hipster Whale is a prime example… ua-cam.com/video/LBRYFfxAKRk/v-deo.html
So instead of trying to chase after the Hipster Whale, one can just wait at the title screen. The Hipster Whale appears on river rows. So if there are lots of river rows at the start (it's random) then waiting might be easier.
The waiting is usually boring though. HA HA! It might be better to just play the game. The mystery characters should show up eventually, if you know where to look.

@@MonicaMacareno It worked on the Apple TV. I just press the button once to start the game. The character stays on row zero.
But even if not, leaving the words “Crossy Road” can work too. That's harder to see though.

@@MonicaMacareno It might be better to just play the game and wait to see if the character shows up randomly. With the new “Crops Cleared” quest, it's multitasking… trying to unlock the secret character with the Farmer, while clearing crops.

How do you get so many coins?

Another change was the “Ad Blocker Pack” in-app purchase… ua-cam.com/video/ZL2bDijst8E/v-deo.html …the Ad Buster bonuses have been great for coin farming.
Also, I tend to do well in the Pecking Order, which has been a great boost for coins. Even a decent rank is enough for a pretty good coin bonus. There are the quests too.
So, for around five minutes a day, I check the game. I see if anything's changed. While I'm there, I get some quick coins. It adds up.
