Honestly Artem, I think what you have going here is significantly more interesting and immersive than what was likely to be implemented. Great work, as always!
Try combining feasts with assassinations mode, i think it would be cool if you try to assassinate someone in the middle of the feast and run, or silently. Would be also more cool if you can disguise yourself as a guard with some of your soldiers and break into the feast and start fighting other lords/ soldiers.
Or signaling an attack after positioning each soldier in the right spot before attacking, and also you can be caught based on your Rougery skill, if its higher then the higher you will succeed.

Add trying to poison certain people. Or killing a certain guard. Starting a fight with a specific noble. Dueling rival nobles so many things that could be done.

Agreed. I think we would all have rather they tried making a better M&B Warband than make a rather subpar Crusader Kings given how little use we have for heirs and the time necessary to bring them into play as a factor.
@@fern1009 all we got was a good looking bootleg warband build on discount budget with the worst facial expressions i have seen so far in a game like that. Atleast the rest functions like warband...oh..and the forgotten politics and battle terrain..eh...yea.

@@martinvomsozialamt334 The devs stretched themselves too thin and the game suffered as a result. The fact that we are only now getting warehouses again is ridiculous. To me, the devs were more focused on endgame or even (for most) post endgame content as opposed to sanding down and streamlinging the early to mid game experiences. The transition point, players getting their own garrison, was an egregious flop (I couldn't leave 50 troops in a city without losing some to starvation). The starting faction bonuses for some are over the top (Aserai) and next to nonexistant for some (Empire). Seriously, Imperial players should have started with a similar bonus to Aserais with their caravans except with workshops - why that wasn't the case boggles my mind.
Why is it sad? The devs have added in everything that was promised at release, everything else they do is just icing on the cake. The fact they haven't jumped straight into DLC and have chosen just to steadily improve the base game is admirable to say the least and I wish other game devs would do the same.
Thank you, my brother, for this mod. We appreciate the effort you are making, but if you want to develop the mod in the future, I have a few notes. If you allow me, for example, make the reputation system depend on the type of clothes the player wears. Also, add some luxurious nobles’ clothes at high prices so that the nobles’ life becomes Realism in the banner lord and that wearing cheap clothes reduces your reputation among the nobles, and also modify the tournaments between the nobles, for example, a spear confrontation, one against one, and not the natural banner lord system. They look like they are slaves to Rome and they fight 😂 and thank you very much, brother, for your efforts
As long as I don't have nobles feasting at war time, I'll be thrilled to see the feature back. That's a reason I didn't worry much when I saw TaleWorlds wasn't too interested. I knew they'd implement it poorly lol.
Damn this looks so polished already. I love the little details like the same confetti being used on the minimap and the actual feast. The spawnpoints and walk paths looks great and the feasts themselves really seem to have a good atmosphere. I can't wait until it's totally finnished!
Thank you so much for creating my new favorite mod of all time. I do have one idea to add to this that would be PERFECT if you could make it happen on any level: *Using the skills gained already involved in this mod, you can then use your new abilities during battles as a field musician.*
You'll be able to 'arm' yourself with a musical instrument, be it various percussion, a flute, horn etc., and raise morale/effectiveness of any troops nearby on the battlefield, as well as lower morale/effectiveness of enemy troops nearby. Of course, this won't save your own hide if you're getting attacked, so you can always switch out your instrument to a weapon if need be. Better yet, you can hire field musicians yourself as you lead your men in battle, and decide whether you want them dispersed on the battlefield, or hang behind the main flank etc. I don't know how much further you can take this, but it would be INCREDIBLE if field musicians could also complement each other as far as what they were playing as an ensemble -- horns playing together in unison, have a hard-hitting drum section, etc. But obviously this mod would already be incredible without going to that extent, it'd just be the icing on the already-delicious cake. Hope this is something you'll at least consider! Thanks again.

I think this is a good stepping stone towards a mod that adds music focused soldiers that give a buff to troops like a banner but to all formations. Like a Celtic carnyx, a Viking war horn, bugle, war drums, etc.
Man this is such a must have mod so stoked to use it now truly amazing work you've done nice job. one thing I think it might need is an additional option is to decline invites without taking a relation hit ie maybe saying that you are indisposed atm which can be many options/criteria to meet such like your at war and must defend or attack, or you have a business matter that needs to be attended to promptly etc. just so your not forced to always loss relations if your unable to make it I do think there would be room for balances aswell. cant wait to get my lute on :)

When I read the title I thought that Feasts are Back because of the new update, but then its because of Mods.
Bannerlord is really an unfinished game even until the supposed full release.
It's still a Warband with improved graphics and missing features.

Feasts, courtships and poetry recitals?
You know, this might be enough for me to actually care about Mount and Blade as a setting.
As a suggestion, I think it could be quite interesting if high relations and charm could result in other NPCs (Lords and companions) trying to read poems to you for a change!
Can’t wait to try this out! I just don’t understand what keeps things like this from just being apart of the base game. Feast were basically a core mechanic of Warband. How long did the Feast mod take to develop?

When it comes to the poems and using them for courtship. You should add the fail and pass system thats is already implemented in the game for other outcome dialog. That why its not a guessing game on what poem i should use for said person. Or under each poem add a system that player traits effect the outcome. So (said poem) will be like by merciful lords but not by non merciful lords. The poet's can tell you this info when you go to oay and the game can remind you when you go to use that poem

I be thinking the same thing. Tbh I think a lot of modders would do it for less and a lot of others might just straight up refuse, but it’d be worth a shot for TW devs to at least make offers.

Boy did i miss feasts, i always wondered why all the tourneys in BL felt weird.
Yo Artem I have an idea for a mod however I’m not sure if it’s possible but I thought I’d suggest it anyways. Imagine a mod where you could ambush or be ambushed. I got the idea from Varus and his legions. Basically it would be a fight where instead of fighting a normal battle the defender would be in a column where the attackers would be from 2 sides primarily in woods. I’m not sure if it would be possible or not but I figured if anyone could do it, it would be you!

I think these should be initiated when the owner clan has a child, marriage, or won a battle/war however should not occur if adjacent to an enemy territory as if it were real then the nobles would be fearing a siege and ration food
Sorry if I missed it in the video, but do feasts also change the influence between npcs? Feel like that would make the world feel more immersive.
Also a cool idea might be if assassination attempts could happen during feasts, perhaps poisoning the food or drinks or smth like that. It'd be easier to get to the person you want dead but if you get found out then everyone attending the feast including the entire family of the person you killed would start hating you.

I have thought about this, but how would it work? I could potentially randomize the outcome for feasts for lords, so either relation on or decrease but... I feel like randomizing it wouldn't do it justice
@@Artem1s True, it would be hard to do. An idea I have is that you could have specific "results" and some would be rarer than others. You'd have like the "normal" result, which is a smaller base increase in relation with everyone/most people who attend and then rarer results, such as an arguments between some people so their relationship decreases (in extremely rare circumstances that could perhaps escalate into a duel to the death resulting in the death of one of the characters and if you are involved and lose you could become scarred like you did with the assassination mod). I'm sure there's a lot of different scenarios that could be added, I'll let you know over discord if I think of anything more.

literally the first thing came to my mind is inviting all lords to the feast then declaring war on them. How would that work if you leave the kingdom while keeping all your fiefs
Good question, I haven't thought about this but I imagine, they will just leave and start besieging the settlement since everyone is already at one location 😳💀
