Another hectic week for us as we prepare to move to Perth soon 😅✈️🏡 I’ve been feeling pretty run down, so my voice isn’t at its best, but singing is very therapeutic for me, so I squeezed in a song today 😬 A beautiful soul I’ve got to know over in Adelaide said to me recently that I sound a little like Tina!? So this one is for you, Kelly. Whilst I am no Tina Arena, I do get told I’m tiny! 😂
An Aussie icon in my opinion, and a household name across many generations, I have fond memories of family road trips listening to Tina’s songs ☀️🌳🚗🎶🎵 Reading up about her life I discovered that she actually grew up in Keilor East - the suburb we have been living in here in Melbourne!! 😮 So as the removalists come this weekend, and our chapter here is coming to an end, I felt this was an apt song choice 🥺🌈
