I certainly need to manage my attitude better, especially when I’m stressed out
This video assesses the life you (ALL of you) lead and the discipline needed to manage your stress levels. If you ever find a voice in your head that tells you to flee such responsibilities, ignore it! The discipline that you live is honorable. Also save some money for your families...tougher times are coming. In a way, I believe that God wants you all to become teachers.
Stress management: I have the 5 hour rule. For 5 hours I allow myself to stay totally away from people. I rage, I feel sorry for myself, I construct arguments to myself about why I am right to feel how I do, I type angry emails that I do not send. I watch junk tv, and dance until I can hardly stand up. I eat whole cartons of ice cream. But after 5 hours, time's up. I have to take a shower, brush myself off, stop the pity party, and jump back into Real Life. No bad attitude allowed. See, after indulging my irritation, I feel much better and can smile my sparkly smile and carry on like the Winner that I am. Crisis over. (it's not healthy to bury your feelings and not let your angst out)

Learn how to let go , change lifestyle, change or quit job or get closer to nature and get a healthy body. If can't avoid the stress, then just embrace it and do one thing at a time, handle things professionally and keep cool, calm and collected.

Thanks for the final advice, "if you can not change the situation that you're in, what you need to really change is your attitude". Wow! You guys have a good control of your emotions. That's my weakness. It's true that the weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character. I remember the way the conductor Karajan works with other musicians, he didn't get angry but put more training to help the musician improve until it is enough for the team. I'm not sure it's exact or not but this idea is really great and it requires a lot of patience to be a good leader

It lasts from a few weeks to a month or two, depends where you dance and the material of the floor :) we use normal flat, cloth dance shoes :)

I had so much stress being a FT mom!! Now that my kids are older ( 17 year old twins and 15 year old), I started doing Barre classes to relieve my stress!! The best part is that I am happier and more fit!
you should use final cut pro instead of premiere for editing... stress will go down big time, I promise 😂

That’s a good tip. Most of us dancers take power naps for a quick recharge :)
