Your descriptions of these favorites = perfection. It's completely apparent how well you know & love these fragrances. I am a through and through carnation lover myself. It was also used in many vintage women's scents ... Caron Bellodgia, Guy Laroche Fidji on & on. Bel Ami is the finest from Hermès, bar none. I also love Parfum d’Hermès (1984) ..."reinterpreted in 2000 and renamed Rouge Hermès." Eau des Merveilles comes in #3. Agree with you, the number one spot nod to Chanel Antaeus is well-deserved.

Enjoyed this video so much🧡. Speaking of Kerléo, are you familiar with JP Ma Liberté? I got it the years it was released, the EDT (still have around 40ml from that bottle). Since then I acquired the EDP too. It's a lavender, fougère-like scent, originally marketed to women but completely unisex imo. I remain especially fond of the EDT.
Thanks for your content. It has helped guide me a lot. I wonder your thoughts on Kajal's Sawlaj. It has a solid resemblance, according to my inexperienced nose, to Bel Ami (at least the most recent version of Bel Ami, with which I have only 3mls experience).
I have heard very good things about it... unfortunately I have never smelled it but you compared it to Bel Ami & someone else I know compared it to Diaghilev... can't go wrong with those 2!
I never thought of honey as smelling animalic before. But as soon as you said it, it made sense to me. I have a jar of buckwheat honey sitting on my kitchen table, so I took a sniff of it, in light of your comment, and you know what? WOW. You are soooo right. Buckwheat honey is very dark and pungent, and sniffing it now, you know what I'm getting: shades of Kouros!

Really refined and quality choices, Bravo! Probably if I had to choose my signature it would be Boss N°1 and Musk Khabib and Heritage. One thing I noticed upon completely finishing a bottle of the gold cap version of Heritage that no one talks about is a light dose of ambergris which not only makes the citrus in the opening extremely sparkly and gives room for the other notes to emerge, but also brings back Jicky ! What an important perfume for the history of perfumery...It really makes you think that JPG tried to imprint all of its heritage into this perfume. Impressive.
