Thanks for the video, just found it before I installed risers on my 2009 XT250. Did you have to fiddle with the cables? I don't seem to have 30mm (or much of any) of free play once the clamp is unbolted. I wasn't sure If you just didn't video it.
I think I might have wiggled the wires out of the way while working it. I did have to adjust my mirrors when I added the hand guards, but the riser was super easy to put in. I do think it would be worth paying attention to the number of turns you put on each screw because you could tighten one side more than the other. I'm a bit of a perfectionist on stuff like that, but I'm sure if it secure you will be good. Later on I may put a different handle bar to make it a bit taller. I do notice the difference now when standing up and its less strain on the back.
Thanks, I'll give it another shot. I checked at Rocky Mountain ATV, and they are supposed to fit the '09 (not a lot of difference between the years with any parts). Maybe the previous owner secured them somewhere I didn't see yet. I appreciate the reply.
