OpenBVE Release : The R179

Credits to ​⁠‪@dragonfist5887‬ (orignal creator of this R179), ​⁠‪@andrevwzbve‬ (cab taken from his R179, some interior textures, and pic in train description) and ​⁠‪@BenTheMiner‬ (fonts and side LED template used)
Upcoming updates : R179 Alt (based off PTA's R179 Alt), FIND system programs (might take awhile due to lack of refs), and either R179P or R179 Redliner

The train description has the keybinds listed for the LED signage, but if you’re using MAC. That’s not gonna work

The train is perfection i know this isn't your fault but why doesn't the C.I. scenery often miss not including the parachute tower and the 🎢 and a proper ferris Wonder Wheel and N.Y. Aquarium to add more realism? The stations are spot on but blank background nope. Other guys in Japan n England n Europe it's no problem?

You're asking the wrong person, I had nothing to do with the route creations. Some of the routes and objects date back to before I was even born. But to answer the realism question, some modern routes include most of those details. The older ones don't, but the added realism can lag the game and sometimes it can lead to the game freezing or crashing. So that's why most routes don't have like 3D models of things you see IRL.

i'm having that same problem. the cab appears on my end but the lead cars look messed up. is it with 3010-3014+3015-3019?

@xyrioumrailfanner it depends on your PC/laptop, because it works for others but doesn’t for others due to an issue with the RAM
